    Realistic GSX Pro Profile for Pyreegue (Orbx) Edinburgh (V1)

    Please note: this is for the original Edinburgh scenery created by Pyreegue and distributed by Orbx, not the latest version (V2). As such, this file will no longer be maintained.

    Installation

    Place the file into \Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS
    Note: ensure no other files starting with egph are in this folder.

    Features
    • Realistic/correct handling companies (to select handler ensure GSX auto mode is off)
    • Custom pushbacks for all stands (straight push is standard on stands 6 - 10, 20 - 31)
    • Custom passenger walking routes
    • GSX VDGS/Safedock placed where installed in reality (1B - 30, 100, 102-106)
    • GSX AGNIS placed where installed in reality (200 - 212, 31 - 34)
    • Hand placed vehicles
    • Max wingspan sizes correctly set up
    • No fictional pax barriers etc.
    Usage
    • Stands 2A, 3A, 4A Setup to use the adjacent jetways, rather than stands 2, 3, 4
    • Stands 9A, 10A, 208 disabled as they no longer exist in reality (old 209 depicted is where new 208 is)
    Max Aircraft Sizes
    • Code E (B77W) - 4A, 12, 15, 16, 18 (tested with Asobo B787-10)
    • B788 - 2A
    • A342 - 23
    • Code D (B763) - 21, 210, 211, 212
    • B753 - 3A, 1
    • E195 - 5, 19, 200 - 202, 206 - 207
    • Code B (E145) - 26
    • Code A - 99, 101
      All other stands are Code C (tested with B738/A320)

    Hi, great profile. Just to point out gate A3 and 3 appear to interfere with eachother. The jetway does not operate at A3 and the walk in does not work at stand 3.

    Great profile however I am having an issue. whenever I park the aircraft myself onto stand, the passengers dont walk into or out of the terminal. Only works if I first spawn at EDI on the stand. shouldn't be aircraft positioning as the I follow the safedock accuratley onto stand. Any ideas?

    Gate 9 has pushback options both called "Facing West" but one is being Nose Right and one Nose Left. Maybe you can adjust the naming of those since it's very confusing right now.

    Stand 1, pax are boarding via invisible stairs to jetway, then via jetway entering ac.

    I had the same problem. Do this:

    1. When parked at Stand 1, open the GSX menu.

    2. Click on "Customize Airport positions"
    (You may see a pop-up about parking mismatches. I hit cancel.)

    3. Beside "Passenger waypionts" click the garbage can to delete the customized waypoints.

    This should solve the problem. Hope this helps!

    No passagiers are (de)boarding at stand 1B on my side. Stair trucks remain on their position. Cargo is (un)loaded and working well.

    VDGS for gates 15-18 at least seemed to be floating in the air with the Pyreegue airport, will this be fixed? Does anyone else experience the same?

    The GSX VDGS's have been been placed at the same position as the scenery ones. Due to interference they need to be placed slightly in front so the display is readable. It is the best solution until Pyreegue release a version that has the option to remove the dummy scenery VDGS, or ones with the nool VDGS module. (Let's hope so!)

    Unsure, but should work fine, assuming the profile is put in the folder for GSX.

    Thanks form sharing your GSX profile. I hope something went wrong at my end because I ran into quite a few problems after installing it immediately prior to starting a VA flight. Followed the usual procedures leading up to pushback but as the tug tried to connect, GSX went crazy, disturbing all custom views, repeatedly trying to restart and eventually the nosewheel dropped into the apron. Tried a few things including restart Coutali all to no avail. Abandoned the flight, rebooted PC and restarted MSFS with same flight plan etc... same result. Removed GSX profile, rinse, repeat and all working properly again. I have installed many GSX profiles and followed the same process this time.... totally baffled what might have gone wrong... any ideas? Maybe someone will try this profile (using Gate 15) to see if they have any problems... might just be something at my end which has thrown a wobbly!
