    Description

    Beechcraft Baron Textures only, you need to own the Premium Delux edition of MFS.
     I had good photos of this aircraft inside and out, so the repaint is a complete makeover of the interior as well as the exterior livery.
     Many thanks to Bernd1151 for allowing me to use his burr walnut panel for the Baron, it was too perfect to want to use anything else.  
    This aircraft was previously VH-KJV currently New Zealand registed ZK-KJV. Drag and Drop Install

    Beautiful.! My only issue is it mixes the Registration # with my own so I get half and half and that messes up my call sign with ATC. Fix that and I will give it 5 Stars.!! Thanks.

    Hi Vagus The only thing I can think of is you have another registration set in your default customization options in flight planning. ..... ? That would do what you are seeing.

    Not in a position to check myself at the moment, can anyone confirm whether or not this works with the PMS50 GTN750 mod? I've been having some issues using that in combination with liveries that include panel changes recently. Thanks!

    Hi Dopster. I've not been a fan of using any mods to the panel.cfg either after past experience. But recently I've noticed changes with Asobo's handling of panel.cfg files as they've added more and more liveries of their own - it's meant they have had to fix those issues to get their own liveries to work. I've tested this release myself and didn't see any of the old problems, my testing wasn't extensive though, so I'd really like to know if anything crops up.

    ahh sorry, it was a listing on a 'for sale' website, there musta been 20 good photos ... but the listing has expired. I can assure though that my version was bloody close to the real thing :)

    Bravo, l"Avion le plus classe de toute ma flote, encore merci, mais j'ai une question, il serait sympa de ne pas voler seul, ne serait il pas possible d'avoir deux passagère de 50kg à l'arrière et un co pilote à la droite, encore merci en tout cas.

    Default Baron was awfull so thx for your awsome work !!
    I would like to ask something however, is a 4k or 8k version planned? The paint lines on the cabin should be smoothed out because this is the only flaw at the moment! Thank you anyway

    Hi Doxy thanks for your comments.
    I'm generally quite happy with this repaint apart from the wonky line you mention. I may consider another go at that if and when the developers deal with a number of issues with the Baron's texturing, the area of the wonky line among them. For the moment though, no, that's as good as I could manage.
    The repaint is what's called 4k in that the major textures; fuse, wings and engines are 4096x4096 which is twice the size of the default textures. To go 8k you are starting to talk about 84MB per texture, each texture. IMHO 8k textures with the current MFS and most people's hardware gains next to nothing in visual fidelity at a huge cost of resources. So no 8k for me, my machine would melt, and I have no stutters.

    Thanks for this wonderful creation Crankpin. Also thanks to RebelHeart for articulating the solution to the latest patch problem. As a result I've fixed my other broken but otherwise excellent G58 liveries in my stable. That said, I find myself using this one the most. A classic beauty.

    Just a heads up from the last update - I noticed all of my other liveries were working EXCEPT the Baron G58 - I found out that they changed the texture file names for the Fuse/Engines/Wings and had to edit the JSON files and texture names. i.e. Instead of BARONG58_FUSELAGE_ALBD.PNG.DDS is now BARONG58_AIRFRAME_FUSELAGE_ALBD.PNG (added "AIRFRAME") - so if have this livery and it's not displaying properly that is why.

    Thanks - just wasn't sure if everyone figured that one out - I spent a few hours trying out/comparing/tinkering before I noticed the filename difference. ALL of the other Aircraft were fine, just not Baron's liveries. I love a mystery. LOL .
