    Description

    The recent update:

    IVAO MTL: August 29, 2024

     

    Will this be updated?
    I will do my best to keep these rule sets updated. The update will come when it's needed to give you the best experience and liveries update for MTL.

     

    IVAO MTL

    • Download the IVAO MTL Installer from here.
    • Extract the contents of the archive (.zip).
    • Open the newly extracted "MTL_Installer" folder.
    • Right click on "IVAO MTL Installer.exe" and click "Run as administrator".
    • Ensure your MSFS root directory is correctly set. If not, click "BROWSE" to change it.
    • Click "SELECT" to populate a list of IVAO MTL models available for download.
    • Select all the ones you want to install, or click the checkbox at the very top to select all and click "INSTALL".
    • Once installation is complete, click "REINDEX MTL".

     
    Installation

    • Create a folder wherever you prefer for your model matching rule sets. Personally, I use C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\vPilot Files.
    • Copy the included .vmr files (or just the ones you want to use) from this package to your newly created folder.
    • Launch vPilot.
    • Click Settings.
    • Click the + icon next to Model Matching (MSFS).
    • Click Add Custom Rule Set(s)...
    • Browse to your newly created folder and add all the .vmr files which you copied.
    • Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to rearrange the order of priority as desired.

    Where do i find the vmr file after installation? I dont see it under IVAO_MTL.

    I don't quite understand the instructions. Once I've finished with the IVAO installer and reindexed, which files do I select within V-pilot? There are no .vml files in the newly created IVAO folder in the MSFS community folder...

    Where does the file available on Flightsim.to fit into all of this?

    vmr file obtained from this mod, so put it anywhere then select the vmr from vpilot setting. Keep the IVAO file on community and it should works

    I'll be trying this because the FS LTL models on VATSIM are missing many aircraft, like the FedEx and UPS A300s.

    Can I pick and choose the models I want used by Vpilot from the list?

    i was with a friend trying the MTL and i noticed that some arent working like GLEX, SF50, Starship, some other business jets while theyre installed and i can see them on the vpilot app when i check the model matching, i dont understand why i cant see the model when they select the code on their vpilot app

    hi there, love this VMR but there is one thing i dont like. It uses lots of old liveries. like the KLM ones

    Do you have the UPS and FedEx B 757 's in this ? There doesn't seem to be a model of them in my sim.

    The SWA B738 doesn't appear to be mapped correctly it shows A320 default Asobo model instead, will this be fixed?
