It handles national and international air traffic of the metropolitan area of Tampico, Ciudad Madero and Altamira.

This is Mar de Cortés International Airport which serves the town of Puerto Peñasco, or Rocky Point as it´s known in english. It´s the only town in Mexico that I know of that has a name in spanish and in english, also the only airport in Mexico I´ve seen that flies both the Mexican and American flags.

The runway numbers (identifiers) in Navigraph have been updated, but they no longer match the runway numbers in the airport mod. This mismatch causes the ILS to become unavailable or non-functional.
