    YBBN Brisbane oversize trees fix - Image 1

    Description

    This mod reduces excessive tree height around YBBN Brisbane Airport, including on the runway approaches. No longer will you get scratches on your paintwork while flying the ILS into 19L! Much of the area around the airport has been fixed so that it blends together better, and broken TIN trees were also removed.

    This was developed and tested with Orbx YBBN (I have no idea why they didn't include this fix themselves with the airport), but I expect it works with the default autogen airport as well.

    Sometimes you wonder if developers ever fly into their own creations 🤔
    Major developers often neglect simple inclusions like correct ILS, AI Traffic routes, Parking stand data, Markings, etc.

    MSFS gives very limited control over vegetation and doesn't have mangroves - the biome I chose is the one that looks the best in my opinion. If nothing else it's now well out of the flight path.

    I'd rather not have to fix this, but at least we can. Trees are bad throughout MSFS2020, but Asobo are promising better for 2024 so fingers crossed.
