    As per last comment, i have just downloaded this scenery and the only pad that seems to work is the one on the lake, the rest i sink through. MSFS 2020.

    i´ve installed the sceneries as linked.

    still can´t do the missions as on the tablet below the on- or offline section it´s pointing not to have installed the sceneries.

    any ideas?

    This is more of a question for the missions addon. But as far as I know. The message still won’t go away as they can’t actually communicate with the missions tablet if you have the scenery installed or not. So if you see my scenery you should be fine on that side of things to proceed with the mission stuff. Hope this helps!

    A few tips : Make sure you have the wildlife settings ON in MSFS. There are plenty of deer, squirrels and wolves to be found!. Also try this challenge by setting the time to 12 o'clock noon in the summer. Any other times and the sun will barely shine on the landing sites, and everything will be in shadows. The sites, (seven sites plus the lake) are not easy to find. Take off from the lake, follow the path up the side. The flags at the site will only spawn when you are close to them, so fly slow, and close to the mountain. Generally , you can see the next site from the site your at, but only one at a time. The sites are spread far enough apart that you wont see them all from one spot. You have to hunt! And be careful lifting off...you have to back out! At 6000'MSL, choppers don't respond well to straight up climb. Oh, on some of the ramps, you might get a slight bump in altitude as you approach the landing pads,,presumably from the ground effect of the rotor wash over the landing site.

    This scenery is the most challenging I've found for landing helicopters and I'm thrilled it's in the Canadian Rockies! Thank you again Wing Boss. Very professional!

    BTW, I fly exclusively in VR and have a Puma Flight Trainer cyclic and collective ;-)

    Thank you Very much! And thanks for posting your tips! I too set my weather to march / April around 2 o’clock :) Another tip is to just map a route from the mill to the dock and add the pads as way points. I fly VR as well and it makes all the difference in controlling helicopters and having good awareness of surroundings. I am very jealous of your puma flight controls! It’s on my wish list for sure. I do have a similar set up that is all modified existing controls. Converting a throttle quadrant into a collective. Can send a picture sometime :) The updraft that happens before some of the landing pads is somewhat unrealistic and is nothing I can control as the sim developers need to address those physics. It behaves like it’s throwing distance points to the ground then it detects a rapid rise in ground so it shoots the aircraft up instead of just keeping it steady in the air. I’ve seen many heli logging videos out of BC and they don’t have that rapid lift from simply hovering to over a log pad. :) That is the biggest complain I get but it’s sadly out of my control. Anyhow appreciate the support and glad you are loving it! Hopefully I will see you in the virtual sky’s sometime! My Handel is also wingboss in the sim. Cheers!

    Can you list, either heliports, helipads, or even POI's, as, nothing shows up, at the longitude and latitude?

    something should pop up with points of interests on. You did drop this into your Community folder and restart the sim? You should be able to search Revelstoke on the Map and it will be just down the valley on the left. I did put a screenshot of the map of this scenery. Ill add another one in relation to Revelstoke Airport in a bit. Thanks!
