FS2024 Section

V1.1   05 Dec 24

• Stage 1 conversion to FS2024. Fixes missing buildings, corrects terrain and textures.
• Makes the airport work fine and look fine.
• Look out for further fixes and updates as I discover cool things in the new SDK.

V1.2   19 Dec 24

• Changed the terrain pathing references for the new terrain engine to read the surfaces correctly into FS2024.
• Removed the terrain fixes from FS2020 which now look fake in FS2024.
• Moved the helipad.

V1.3   27 Jan 25

• Final FS2024 conversion from my WA scenery!
• Replaced popping hangar with one that behaves.
• Added some more clutter to the open hangar.
• All good. All done.

V1.4   05 Dec 25

• Added the proper FS2024 Helicopter Parking for cold/dark starts. Look for Helicopter Parking xx.
• Made other minor additions and texture work.
• Final check before SU4.

V1.5   01 Jan 26

• FS2024 version update.
• Replaces/substitutes many missing objects/buildings caused by SU4.
• Fixes lighting issues also caused by updates in SU4.
• All of my scenery is now being checked for this total mess they caused us Dev's.
• Some other minor fixes and additions.

V1.6   29 Jan 26

• Fixes messed up vegetation preventing spawning into the hangar. Possibly caused by the previous update.

FS2020 Section

NOTE: Your sim must be up to date with all world updates and POI's installed. You do not need any photogrammetry installed,  just the base world updates as I borrow scenery from those resources. This project makes extensive use of the UK2000 Scenery Library which is free in the Marketplace. Please make sure you have it installed.

Ok, back to some bush strips for you GA pilots in WA.

Welcome to Quairading Airport, Western Australia. To call this an airport is a bit of a stretch, but I guess the Shire wanted to shine it up a bit and added an asphalt apron and called it one.

74 nautical miles east of Perth, on the way to Bruce Rock and with a single runway and basic facilities, it caters primarily to light aircraft and charter flights, supporting both commercial and private aviation activities in the region.

Note, 'basic' facilites does not include fuel. Probaby it means they have a landline, a toilet, running water and a spanner. If I have offended anyone from Quairading, leave a comment.

I have added life to this place, as with all my work, so feel free to drop in and rest a spell doing... well whatever they do there.

V 3.0 (25 Aug 24) - NOTE THE DEPENDANCIES HAVE CHANGED. 

• High quality as is expected by my followers.
• Full overhaul from the ground up, a complete rebuild.
• New buildings and objects.
• Your own GA hangar to spawn into.
• Cleaned up the MSFS artifacts for a nice and crispy airport.
• Added a cold and dark chopper start under the helipad (Parking 100).
• Checked FPS, all good.
• This is the last update for this strip.

Tip:
Don't forget to reload your Little Navmap scenery library now and then in order to keep your new airfields accurately portrayed within it. This way all your new taxiway designations are updated among other things.

LNM automatically searches through your community folder during the process which runs in the background so you can keep simming.

From the menu bar of LNM:  Scenery Library | Load Scenery Library | press Load. When finished, press Use Database.

Instructions:
Unzip and drop into your Community folder.
