    Description

    What would Canadian Airlines look like had they survived into the late 2010s and beyond? Well here is my personal take on this question in the form of a fictional what-if livery. This livery is a modern interpretation of the famous Canadian Airlines "Proud Wings" livery that was first unveiled in 1999 and lasted until 2001 when the airline was officially aquired by rival airline Air Canada. The fictional livery keeps the iconic goose and the original colors of the company, but modernizes the font and proposes a new take on the overal paintscheme.

    This is my very first livery for MSFS so there's probably a good number of areas for improvement; feedback, suggestions and comments are welcome!

    Also, if you would like to feature this particular livery in any of your media such as videos, streams or screenshots you are more than welcome to do so. Feel free to let me know; I'd love to see your content!

    Updates

    • Version 1.4 | Updated the winglet mirroring; it should be ok now. NOTE: Delete the previous folder and replace it with the new one.
      Version 1.2       | Reworked some logo elements so they look less pixelated up-close. Chevron on the left side canadi logo is flipped so it now points forwards. Included an optional folder for AI traffic textures. Install it in your community folder if you would to see AI traffic with this livery. If not, just don't install it. 
    • Version 1.1 | Renamed the texture folder to remove a file address conflict with Cirrofoen's beautiful Canadian Airlines livery (check it out!). If you have both liveries installed, they should work properly now.


    Instalation:

    • Simply unzip the .zip file into your MSFS "Community" folder.

    Unfortunately I only have the Standard version of MSFS, so I don't really have a way to properly test a 787-10 livery :(

    Can we get an updated version of this? they fixed the winglet issues with the A320..only one winglet is red..love the work done! my fave livery! :D

    Hi love the Canadian Airlines 'modernized' look. I was not able to fly because it would not show up in liveries. I think some of the folder or file names are identical to another Canadian Airlines livery here https://flightsim.to/file/2453/canadian-airlines-4k. Would you mind checking. Thanks

    Hmmm, did you download the latest version? I had renamed the folder with Version 1.1+ to avoid that problem.

    Yes. I even re-downloaded your file today but still wont work while cirrofoen's livery is active, as soon as I deactivate it in msfs addons linker you livery will appear and work. And it is a great livery.

    Hey, I changed the aircraft.cfg file in the new version, I think that should fix the issue. Let me know if you run into any other problems!
