    Mooney Grey Interior with Dark Cockpit Panel V2.6

    Hi.

    I finally got tired of the Mooney's beige and brown interior. Looked a bit dated to me, so I changed the seats into a dark grey, and adjusted the side panels and carpets to fit. Also I fitted the headrests with Mooney logos and darkened the central roof panel to add some contrast. I also decided to make the seats a little less shiny than the original leather.
    This version also features a darkened grey cockpit panel.

    Installation:

    Just drag and drop into your Community folder
    If you have a previous version (older than V2.0) installed you may want to reverse the original files first:

     


    To reverse a previous installation of my mod up till Version 2.0, please follow there steps:

    1. Locate the installation folder for the plane it should be in the "Official" folder looking like this:

    "Official/steam/carenado-aircraft-m20r-ovation"
    or
    "Official/OneStore/carenado-aircraft-m20r-ovation"

    2. navigate to the following folder "../SimObjects/Airplanes/Carenado_M20R_Ovation/TEXTURE.BASE"

    3. delete the following files:
    ALMVEO_INT1_ALB.PNG.DDS
    ALMVEO_INT1_COMP.PNG.DDS
    ALMVEO_INT2_ALB.PNG.DDS
    ALMVEO_INT2_COMP.PNG.DDS
    ALMVEO_WINTEXT_ALB.PNG.DDS
    BELT_ALBD.PNG.DDS

    4. rename the files you previously had renamed back to *.DDS

    Install was a bit of a pain, but not the mods fault, just the pains of editing aircraft purchased in the marketplace. 5 stars thank you for these lovely textures. Really makes the LCDs pop!

    any clues on how to find it when purchased the sim thought microsoft marketplace instead of steam?

    Hi. I have put both paths for Steam and Microsoft Store into the desciption and the readme. The rest depends on where you decided to install MSFS. Normally: if you know where your Community folder is, you will also find your OneStore folder. Sorry I can't help you any more than that.
