    Description

    Desierto de Atacama Airport (ICAO: SCAT) is an airport serving Copiapó, a city in the north of Chile, in the Atacama region. Wikipedia 

    This enhancement improves the default airport to match more closely to the real one according to its 2024 state. It is fully working according AIRAC 2411 procedures.

    • Improved parkings.
    • Improved lightning.
    • Fixed runway, adding PAPIs, ILS and objects.
    • Runway has correct height profile.
    • Improved taxing.
    • Added control tower (default design) and small details.
    • Improved terrain and apron textures.

    This project is still WIP. There are many small cosmetic details to add. Works on FS2024.

Updates include fixed parking areas, enhanced lighting, and a reworked runway featuring PAPIs and ILS. Additionally, a default control tower has been added, along with improved terrain and apron textures. This project is a work in progress, with plans for further cosmetic enhancements.
