    Light Mod FENIX 319,320,321 (SL) External and Cocpit - Image 1

    Description

    This is a Fenix ​​32X light mod for all aircraft versions. I have changed the light tones and intensity. The exterior and cockpit lights are modded.

    Installation is Drag /Drop into the community folder fenix320
    (\Community\fnx-aircraft-320). Effects folder change.

    2 options.
    1 - if you are using default colors msfs. Then the folder LED.
    2 - if you have modified the colors with the graphics card (less colorful) then the folder LEDHALO.
    The real difference is in the LED landing lights. To make them realistic. The color should be daylight, NOT cool white or warm white.

    Daylight= white/white       Cool white= blue/white    Warm white= yellow/white

    Overhead panel also tips on how to use the cockpit lights.
    (All potentiometers the same)

    Since this is a so-called MASTER file replacement, you can install other mods in the community. They will not cause a conflict.
    Only override this folder file if they contain the same files.

    NOTE: Some cockpit lights have not been changed as they are not really used much. The original Effects are also included.

    Hello, probably it's an excellent work but in my opinion is not clear where this mod have to be placed, you say. "Installation is Drag /Drop into the community folder fenix32 (\Community\fnx-aircraft-320). Effects folder change" where this effects folder is? Is this one "Community\fnx-aircraft-320\SimObjects\Airplanes\FNX_32X\common\effects"? There are some files to overwrite? Your original folders contains the original files from Fenix? Please clarify better because an erroneous installations means reinstallation of the aircraft....... Thanks in advance

    Hi, Have you noticed that this file is FS2020, not FS2024 . (does not work FS2024 partially (differently named files)). FS2020 path \Community\fnx-aircraft-320\Effects and FS2024 path Community\fnx-aircraft-320\SimObjects\Airplanes\FNX_32X\common\effects ;)
    -"Finnair fleet A319,A320/320(Muumi),A321/A321ER(Santa) + Cocpit Light MOD + Announcements" is the FS2024 version which includes a partial light mod.

    Hello, excellent work my friend, congratulations. If you allow me to make a suggestion, the lights are incredible, but in the a320 CFM SL version, the color of the wing light does not change. It looks strange because the wing remains a cold white while the rest remains the color set in the mod. Big hug

    This is because the mod does not include a separate modification of the 320 SL lights (Mod for the old Fenix ​​version). V.xxxxxx.2070 > The new version has new light files, e.g. for the A320SL aircraft.

    One thing that baffles my brain is that the Fenix busses are the only aircraft in my hanger where I see a drop in FPS when I switch on the main landing lights. No effect on FPS with the nose wheel lights but the moment the main landing lights come on, then KAPAAUW there's the drop in FPS. I've opened a few tickets to Fenix but their reply is that it's an Asobo bug. Surely that can't be if no other aircraft has this anomaly.
    Do you perhaps know what's the difference between the nose wheel lights (effects) and the main landing lights (effects) and if there is a way to fix this?

    The lighting effect has nothing to do with it. (The effect is just a number value in a text file). This is probably some kind of programming problem. MLG lighting is more complicated to program than NLG lighting. (The position has to change because it is a moving light unlike NLG lighting). I don't think there is any other fix for this than waiting for an update to MSFS or Fenix. At night you can also lower the simulator settings quite a bit because the visibility is worse. It helps to raise the FPS if that is the problem. (Min FPS 25 shouldn't go below that)

    Thank you for your explanation and tips how to try and fix it.
    At the moment I'm more than happy to just land without them and at night the taxi light on 'TAKE'-OFF is more than enough to see what's going on.

    Maybe (in the fall/winter) Fenix will change all its file names. So it's quite a big job. Although changing the lighting is very easy. Just change the light intensity and color. The files can be found in \Community\fnx-aircraft-320\SimObjects\Airplanes\FNX_32X\common\effects> xxxx.fx files. Opens with a text editor. You can try to find the files I used in MSFS2020 and copy/paste ;)

    thank you for the amazing work however I'd like to suggest that if you can , the flood light reflecting on the lading gear lever is true to real life colors but the rest sections are default from Fenix can you make them all same as the one reflecting on L/G the rest are very red-ish thank you

    I also researched the same thing while making the mod. It's not the mod files.It is found in the Fenix ​​software or PBR texture file so changing it is difficult or impossible. Just have to wait for the Fenix ​​update which hopefully will fix it. At the moment it seems Fenix ​​has a lot of problems with the light sections in MSFS2024 so I guess those updates will come quite often.
