    This is a repaint package for the FlyByWire A380X in colours of Emirates.

    There are 109 registrations in Emirates regular design included (some are currently stored):

    All liveries included are available in 4K and 8K. I have uploaded the registrations in packs (A6-ED* + A6-EE* Fleet, A6-EO* + A6-EU* + A6-EV* Fleet)

    Installation:

    To reduce file sizes I created a not usable livery 'flybywire-a380-emirates-commons' storing all textures used on every livery of this package (metal fuselage parts, tail, engine, wings).

    Read the instruction below carefully as they slightly differ from normal Drag&Drop

    1: Extract the *.zip file to a temporary location, ie desktop
    2: Insert the folder 'flybywire-a380-emirates-commons' and at least one other registration of your liking into your community folder.
    3: Start MSFS, choose the installed livery and enjoy!

    No idea, works fine for me. Make sure you put the correct folder into community. In 2024 make sure you use the correct community folder.

    Nice work as always! but I have one question, I am flying A6-EVG on FS24 with GSX, it seems that since the livery was placed directly into community folder in FS24 it shows up as another A380 instead of an livery option in the official livery folder, the GSX seated passengers somehow all turned pink, are there any way to put it in the same folder in the official version or workaround for the seated passenger issue?

    I think you need to register the livery inside the GSX options somewhere to let the pax appear normally. Can't remember which setting, I haven't used GSX in a while. The FBW A380 is still a 2020 addon although working in 2024. So it is still following 2020 terminology. Both sims use slightly different methods to let the livery appear and be sorted in the menu. So it's normal for the moment the liveries appear as 'seperate' aircraft (they are not, only textures and reference to the base plane included)

    Yo! Just a reminder: A6-EDN and A6-EDP do not have the expo 2020 decals now; A6-EEP, A6-EOE and A6-EOM are now in the new livery (A6-EEP and A6-EOE lost it's Emirates Foundation and Wimbledon livery respecitvely).

    Yeah, Emirates keeps changing them. I probably leave the Expos in, but I can add the two registrations hopefully.

    Oh. You mean you will add A6-EEP and A6-EOE here in the new livery and repaint EOM and add EDN and EDP without Expo 2020 sticker and old livery (two EDN and EDP; one with and one without Expo 2020)???

    I probably leave A6-EDN and A6-EDP with the expo 2020 sticker (so they are still representing the old design) and change/add A6-EEP, A6-EOE and A6-EOM with the new design, yes.

    If i install all liveries so eu, eo, ev, ed and ee do i need both commons folders or is 1 enough for both downloads?

    Honestly I wouldn't recommend loading all of them into the sim, at least not in 2024. The sim is aways struggling there, beside my quite powerful setup. You may try though. The commons folder is included in each and every upload as fs.to requires uploads to be independent per their policies. You only need to include it once.

    Just absolutely wonderful, only thing that is not 100% accurate is the font on the nose where it says "AIRBUS A380-800" nowdays most emirates a380 uses new font on this lettering, maybe 10-15 yrs ago they used this one like on this package.. only thing missing but its great package, just throwing in reference out of boredom, thanks

    Well the font change is one my list quite a while now, just can't handle to update all 200 individually in regard of available time. Bit of waiting to do more than just a font change, so the update would be worth it.
