    No need for them at all , deleting them will significantly makes the file light and easy to deal with and paint. thank you.

    Hi, would you mind explaining what we have to do once we have completed our paint in blender. I have made the main files .dds and then replaced them in the textures folder. Done all the other changes however still pink, no thumbnails showing in sim. The livery profile box shows correctly. Thanks. Appreciate the paint kit though, very easy to use.

    Download the MSFS Layout Generator , then run the layout.json file with MSFS layout generator app , do this every time you edit the texture files , also if you like edit the manifest.json with notepad by changing only name of their livery and creator name.

    when you replace the dds files in the texture folder with the new one , keep the names the same . also edit the aircraft.cfg file by changing the name followed the "texture" to your texture folder name , for example:
    in aircraft.cfg : texture = "ABC"
    the name of texture folder should be: texture.ABC
