    HCG is back!

    After some time away to deal with life, I am happy to be back and bring you all some new toys and updates!

    To get started, I thought since it was coming into summer here, I would release a suiting project for the season, so here is the 

    Starr Bumblebee II – The World’s Smallest Manned Aircraft

    Experience the Guinness World Record holder for the smallest piloted aircraft ever flown, now brought to life in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The Starr Bumblebee II is a true aviation oddity — compact, quirky, and demanding precision.

    This addon features:

    A highly detailed visual model and cockpit
    Custom flight dynamics tuned to simulate its unique handling
    Experimental failure and vibration systems (active in "Aged" livery)
    Realistic engine behavior with throttle-dependent overheat and failure logic

    User manual included in "Documents" folder in root package.

    Tailored sound, effects, and performance based on the original aircraft’s specs as close as possible.

    Takeoff requires care, stall behavior is unique, and the tiny size offers a one-of-a-kind flying challenge.

    For realism fans and homebuilt aircraft lovers alike, this is a micro-legend not to be missed.

    Keep an eye out over the coming months for 1 new commercial release and big updates/overhauls to most existing aircraft in my library, commercial and freeware!

    Thanks for trying this and hope you enjoy, I had limited testers, so bare with any mistakes i may have missed, there is alot of custom code going on, mainly in the "Aged" livery, so mistakes are innevitable I suppose!

    Nice work! The aircraft may be the smallest, but not the worst by any means. I recreated its first flight in Marana, Arizona back in 1988. Thanks!

    I had never heard of this aircraft and first thought that it was something funny fictional. Really amazing job! Cool, that it comes with a proper sound set. It flies just as scary as it must be in real life. Top marks!

    Thank you for sharing the aircraft.
    I noticed one thing: In FS2024, the scenery and clouds above the propeller seem to be swaying.
    Of course, I know that this aircraft is for MSFS2020, just letting you know. Thank you.

    thanks for the update! :), it may be the heat distortion fx, I didn't happen to see it, but maybe it is more noticeable in 24?

    I tried it a while ago, but there was no swaying.
    It may have been a drawing problem on the MSFS2024 side. I'll see if it happens again. thank you

    I disabled the VisualEffectLibs folder in MSFS2024 and the shaking stopped.
    It might be an engine exhaust effect.

    Also, the elevator seems to be weaker in update 1.1. Thanks a lot

    I replied on you video :) it is just the heat fx getting exagerated id say, also yes the elevator may feel a bit weaker but i feel it may be fairly close to realistic for the design.., since the plane only ever flew a handfull of times before the unfortunate crash, theres very little stats to go on, but if we ever find iit needs a bit more help it can always be refined a bit more! but for now, I have to get on to updating some other overdue projects! im a bit behind these days lol! thanks again :)
