It incorporates recent aerial imagery and new structures added since the 2020 version. The package is designed for easy installation in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Small Private Strip near Hokitika on the West Coast (NZKQ) and three surrounding small private strips close by to practice STOL landings. Also tidied up parts of the Scenery up the Arahura Valley and Hokitika Gorge. Originally created for MSFS2020 but redone for 2024 and still a work in progress. I'll keep working on it as I have time but decided to share with the community anyway.

It is optimized to work with NZA Simulation’s Wanaka Region v2 and Bijan Seasons Enhanced for best visual fidelity. Designed with a focus on realistic flying experiences in mountainous terrain, the scenery may include local wildlife such as sheep.
Forbes Hut airstrip is an unlisted bush strip in the Wanaka region of New Zealand, featuring a 1,789-foot grass runway with challenging approaches and prominent nearby terrain. The add-on includes a custom hut model, helicopter starting locations, and detailed terrain modification for immersion. It is designed to work optimally with NZA Simulation’s Wanaka Region remake and Bijan Seasons Enhanced. The airstrip is part of a larger Wanaka region improvement project aimed at enhancing bush flying experiences.
