CConManA beautiful short bush strip above the Salmon River in Idaho coordinates 45.410563, -116.151362 I created this scenery in conjunction with the Bush Strip "Riggins Ridgetop 69ID" by TheDukeNewcomb. Thanks for help in teaching me the art of scenery design Duke!
This is Chief Joseph Ranch a.k.a Yellowstone Dutton Ranch from the Paramount TV series "Yellowstone", as in real life the ranch does have a helipad but I added a small strip for those who prefer fixed wing, so please do bare in mind its a semi-fictional scenery, I do reccomend a stol aircraft as the strip is not very long, a C208 might be pushing it a bit. if you enjoyed the series,I do hope that you find my scenery to Dutton standards. ideas or suggestions for improvement are welcome. Mineral Canyon's airstrip ( UT75 ) is a beautiful strip in the bottom of a 1000ft canyon right on the edge of the Green River just south of the Bowknot Bend. River has a tendency to flood during the summer, The surface is dried river bottom mud/sand. Use caution after rain as the strip may be unusable. Lots of parking and very long (2000ft) by backcountry standards. Best 1000 feet of runway seems to be roughly in the center.
Orogrande - 75C, Idaho, is a long strip owned by USFS, I created this scenry for my own enjoyment in bush flying, and decided to upload it for those who enjoy bushflying aswell, although the strip is real, I made my own recreation of it fictionally. Hope you enjoy the scenery, be cautious for deer and moose.
Hoback Mountain Strip - 1HBMS is a fictional bush strip I created for my own enjoyment, and thought to share with other bush pilots, this strip is situated roughly 9000ft above on a mountain range close to Jackson Hole ( KJAC ),Wyoming, a small hangar to house your aicraft and a cabin to claim as your own, I added lots of detail in the vegetation, a small campfire , 3 snow mobiles, and lots more.
Sluice Creek - O68 , nestled between mountains next to the snake river on the border of Idaho and Oregon, added my own fictional touch as i couldnt find any visual references. Hope you enjoy as much as I did creating it.PS: have a look ath flowers at the windsock...you might just find some butterflies floating around...
Pinnacle Airport (0ID8) in Grangeville in Idaho, nestled between mountains with stunning views, hikers are waiting for you to pick them up after there holiday stay, watch out for deer! Sloped grass runway, so be sure to take a bush plane or helicopter, the beaver flies in and out easily, created this scenery for myself, but thought I would share with those who would like to have another bushstrip in Idaho, stay centreline or you might just hit a boulder on the sides!
A small bush strip scenery pack that I have made, this pack contains 4 of the 8 I am planning on doing, these camps are situated along the Colarado River that flows through the Grand Canyon, these strips are fictional and my own idea with purpose of having places to stay whilst you and your friends fly through and follow the canyon. Grab your friends, get your choice of STOL aircraft or helo and go say hi to the care takers. note that these strips are very short and you will need a STOL aircraft, with that said ,you should be able to get away with the DHC2.... good luck!
Taylor Ranch Landing - 09ID is situated in Idaho, the strip is for pvt use IRL , I created this scenery for myself and is a fictional recreation, the strip is challenging to land on, but with that said, a C208 can make in and out of there easily... if you really want a real challenge.... take a kingair, there is enough space for you and your wingmen for parking, careful with the beehives, and watch out for deer before take off.
Honey Hole Landing is a Fictional bush strip 2.6nm West of Thayne WY. Thayne is at 5906 feet in elevation. It sits in the northern portion of Wyoming's grassy Star Valley, close to the Salt River. Thayne is surrounded by green grassland and ranches, with forested mountains at the valley's edge. Included in this mod is one fictional strip Honey Hole Landing 42° 54' 40.17" N 111° 3' 34.62" W Installation: unzip and place the file "thedukenewcomb-honey-hole-idhh" into your community folder.

1ID9 Simko Field. This mod fixes the major terrain glitch and brings it much closer to its real life counterpart. 1ID9 sits underneath Bonneville Peak and is just southwest of Pebble Creek Ski Area. STOL aircraft only so bring your best bush plane. Hope you enjoy!

ID62 is a private use airport located 02 miles N of Grace, Idaho on 36 acres of land. Runway 16/34 is 3750 x 30 feet. Simpson airport sits 1 mile away from the Flume of the Last Chance Canal Company. The Flume is open to public to ride for a thrilling experience.
