Yes, it's inibuilds. The plane costs $111CAD, it better be study level! 😂

I hope not or at least (if a study level) that it can also be flown as a default one

The iniBuilds A310 will be releasing as freeware and will cost you nothing if you own a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator

I know, I'm talking about the currently released A310 for XP11. I know the MSFS one will be free lmao

Please not 😅 I guess asobo wants to offer a study level aircraft for free to finally satisfy all the people who are still mad about that the default A320Neo and B747-8 is not study level. For me personally are non study level aircrafts, or like I call them arcade aircrafts, way more stress then fun to fly. Because you have to fly your modern airliner like an old 707. And to be honest I'm pretty sure that you also using the FBW mod and not the default 320Neo 😉.

I am very happy the A310 was a good idea I love this plane at the time when it was in active 100% was one of the planes i liked the most, I would also in the future create a more recent two-engine passenger as Dash 8 no simulator had a plane of this category as a base, almost all games opt almost for the same planes or the same models.

I am glad that Asobo is introducing something a little more advanced for the less "gamer-type" users.

Dash 8 is two engine and Asobo will be releasing an ATR 42/72 soon. Unless you meant the DC-8?

what type of question is that lol ofcurse.

I understand the desire for study level planes but in my case I'm happy with being able to use my keyboard keys F1 to F8, the arrows for up and down and bank, and the dot for breaks and the pad number for external views, that's all I need. This becuase I am not interested in pretending being a pilot. I just love the planes, seeing them taking off and landing, flying over beautiful landscapes. I hardly get inside the cockpit, just do it very occasionally. I'm not insterested in learning touching every knob or button in the cabin. I do use the FB too but it has issues. The external tail light sometimes doesn't tun on, there is no touchdown sound on the external view and this message that the autorudder must be didabled amoung others I dislike. I use it just because some liveries are made just for this one. 🙂 I don't mind if the 310 is study level but if you don't want to fly it "technically" I would like to have the abilibility to fly it as a defulat one, simple old style. Have a nice Sunday!

I think in this community of simulation flying we should respect all opinions about what level of realism someone wants in there simulator. I respect the persons (Also me ) That love the realism and flying the airplanes like real airplanes. I do also respect the people that love the basics of flying an airplane and just enjoy the experience of basic flying and exploring. Because at the end of our flight it is all about having fun in what we do !

Thanks for the attention, I honestly don't know where I got that Dassh 8 Q400 has four engines :P and thanks for the information that Asobo will make a free ATR.

Wonderful! Absolute wonderful! And the EFB already looks better than in every other airplane.

Thank you also a nice Sunday, or Monday now lol :) It's fascinating how many different kind of simmers our hobby has now. Before it was just the diehard realism Flight-simmer and the simpler type of people, but just relax type of people who just wants to enjoy the planes and landscape are new. I didn't even knew that it is possible to fly with just a keyboard lol. I knew that this option exists but i never believed that you can actually fly with it properly.Have a nice day!

I still wish that the Neo and 748 both had the center engine twirlies, this one has them, makes me like it a bit more

🤣 yes I've read that, people can't believe that in 2022 someone flies with a keyboard. It happens that I've never been too fun of video games and I discovered the flight simulator by chance so I learnt to fly it with the keyboard. Then came FSX, then P3D now MSFS and I kept using the keyboard so I am really used to that, that I cannot imagine myself trying a stick. As per the flying, yes I enjoy so much seeing the plane in action over cities or landscapes more than the technical part, that stresses me jajajaja. Thanks your for comment it was nice reading it.

Freeware? surely Microsoft will be charging for the 40th edition which means that its not free at all and the price will be bolted onto the initial fee for this edition. Another money making scheme perhaps?

no the 40th xpac is free my dude

I would rather of had the Dash 8 than the ATR72 imo

ok good but the ai traffic when you fix????? after two years we dont have a decent traffic...

I was like exactly this 27 to 15 years ago. I can land a jet reasonably well with MSFS control scheme, recentering the ailerons with numpad '5' key. From FS95 all the way to FS2002, this is the way I "play" it.Back then it was easy for the community to develop eye candy passenger jets just to be admired from the external view. The cockpit back then was mostly 2D and pretty rudimentary. Freeware groups from POSKY, Project Airbus, to IADG produced high quality 3D models with "reasonably flyable" flight dynamics and detailed custom liveries (you can search them in Avsim or Flightsim.com). Even individuals like Camil Valiquette (Camsim/Promax) churned out decently modelled widebodies for MSFS for simpler computers.PMDG's first add-on literally won't allow you to use keyboard to control the plane, so I bought my first joystick in 2003. My transition to become "serious simmers" and pilot role-players took many years, because of fear for "learning curve" that is simply not there if you really commit to the hobby. Before then, I simply abandoned flying altogether when planes started to become complex and deep with simulated systems. I begin "AI traffic spotting". Downloading and compiling AI traffic files and its individual custom repaints. That is probably the most effective way to maximise your enjoyment and not having to be bothered with controlling or setting up the planes. Some people in the community abandoned MSFS altogether and start collecting die cast models, building his own ideal fantasy airport dioramas. Some went to pilot school altogether.YouTube tutorials simply set me up and show me how to procedurally go through standard checklist items and fly a full commercial flight. And that's it.Today in MSFS 2020 though, you can download any plane model and ask AI pilots to do the rest for you. Sometimes it is just a waste to model everything in detailed manner, whether it is a freeware like FBW A32NX or PMDG 737NG, and not behaving like its real counterpart. But people who are not interested in flying, like you or myself back then, can still enjoy it with plenty of AI assistance, so you should never feel left out.

Thanks so much for your reply. Loved it, very honest. I started with FS9 too and very similar behaviour. I have not started learning because I don't usually go from A to B. I open the sim and ask myfelf, where to fly? So I see the world and chose a place. As I am not going to a specific place I just need to take off. Then I fly around a city, a national park, a cost line and maybe go back to the same airport I took off, even if it was a 747. I may go north then decide to do east and maybe just quit without landing. That's why investing time in learning the technical stuff is boring for me. Too much doing for such flying type. That's the point. Maybe I can clarify what my pleasure is by shwoing my shots https://wall.flightsim.to/profile/carlos Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.

    Oh, ok sorry got confused.

This is exactly myself back then. How I miss those days. I open the sim, fly to where I want from the closest airport possible, and that's it, circle around until I got bored.People today are very blessed with those incredible visual details. Man... back then, things are super flat, and leave quite a lot of imagination LOL.I also like to edit and re-touch the screenshots to make it somewhat "realistic" or "photographic" - looking.
