It's actually very cool new design 💯

Will take a bit of time to get used to it - Seems like "Change Log" is one of the missing functions as well.
Update: I'm not sure If I am a fan of the new site layout - It seems more messy and harder to find what you want now.

The logic flow of the old design was better and more convenient.

Where can I reset the "New uploads" page?It shows me all new stuff, indepenedt if I already saw it or not, that was the most important feature for me :O
Oh, and where can i find the notifications now?

Visibility of available updates on personally downloaded addons is terrible.
Before: there was separate section on the main page indicating there are updates available and just 1 click was needed to get to the list of addons, that have updates.
Now: you have to navigate to "my downloads" (that's tucked away), then switch to "update needed" (also, poor wording: "available", not "needed")

Before: addon page would show most recent change log making it easy to tell if there's any point downloading it
Now: "changelog" tab removed, little side block showing latest changelog removed, changelog can be viewed 1 version at a time and it's unintuitive how to access it (to anyone who's trying to figure how to access it: click on a version in the version timeline)

Congratulations! Thank you for all you do for the MSFS Community! Continued success.

yeah... nah. just go back to the old design. this is horrible and critical functionality is missing.
And the search has not been improved at all, it can't handle more than one search term lmao. Test it yourself, e.g. type in "milan italy" - no results. type in just "milan" - lots of results.

Design and ui technically the site is a disaster. If something is simple and good, you should not change it.

The site is missing an important "Reroll to good old design" button...

Basically nothing... or worse... If you don't go to a nexus model where your site is connected to an app that updates the mods automatically you are just turning in circles and you will be irrelevant probably when 2024 gets out. just saying...

What have you done! The new site is terrible! Where can I find "What is new"? Where will I see the updates? Where can I change language?Totally confusing!!!!! ROLLBACK

The new UI makes the site feel cluttered and confusing. Most of us appreciated the simplicity and ease of use found on the old site. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

please give me back the old site :(

Absolutely disgraceful. Do you guys even bother to listen to the community??
Whoever is designing the UI/UX for this website has to have zero experience.

There's no way you looked at this UI, compared it to the old one, and said "Yep, that's so much better." Surely, right? It's now a million times more confusing, unorganized, and more so not smooth at all.

    T

🤦‍♀️ why? Why did you do this? Did you even test it first? Its unusable on mobile and on the Pc its cluttered and disorganized.
    Just..... No.
No one asked for this, no one wanted this. Just leave things alone. If its not broken, don't try and fix it. Its like you're deliberately trying to irritate your users.

Where are the new uploads? Only 2 pages to show new uploads, no way!! This new platform sucks completely !! Please please please give us at least the option to chose between new and old ui

Simply awful. I felt that as somebody who prefers "old-fashioned" sites I may be a minority here but evidently not. Where is the option to revert?! Editing to add that it doesn't even remember my light/dark mode choice between tabs!

That's a mess, totally unusable. Why do people always think;"We have to improve......" Go back PLEASE !

Sorry, but no, simply bad usability. Doesn't even look better...
    T

One of the ugliest, most poorly designed websites I've seen in years. How anyone on the team thought this was an improvement is beyond me. I'm all for positive change, but this is as far from a positive change as it could possibly get.
The randomly sized thumbnails causing a complete lack of uniformity is a horror show for your eyes to skim quickly through. there is absolutely no practical reason it should be that way. That in itself is a disastrous design choice.

A step in the right direction. Profile side menu (the one, that opens when you click profile picture in bottom left corner) could also have this link - after all, there are already 4 "My" items in it.
Change logs must come back, asap.

BRO WTH IS THIS SH1 💀
Always with new designs or user interfaces you need to leave an option for the old UI because this might happen

Sorry , I am premium member and love this site since beginning , but now, difficult to see only the new sceneries or aircrafts. The design why not but please keep it simple as before.

Seriously? 😦This new one is super confusing. Please give us back the old one and rework this new one from scratch.

What was wrong with previous layout. It is so confusing.

No offense, but the update is really poor and has worse user functionality than before.

This layout looks nice but is 1000x worse functionally. It's WAY harder to search for anything now, especially liveries. Stuff is being hidden behind menus, everything has 2-3 extra steps, and nothing is intuitive. The old site was great, there was nothing wrong.

So are you going to listen to everyone and bring back the old UI?

Where is the dropdown menu like in the old site when searching for liveries? When I hover over Liveries, why don't I get the dropdown with all the different categories of aircraft? That was fantastically easy and efficient.
And can you PLEASE organize the list of aircraft alphabetically and with better spacing and layout??
    P

Cant even see how many people downloaded my add-ons without hovering on every single upload...
    F

It looks like we can't get notified of messages anymore? Why did "Top Users" make it into the interface but not message notifications? Why would I possibly care who the top users of the site are?(I won't bother to repeat all the other complaints people are making)Are you guys trying to lose as many customers as you can on purpose?
    C

It's harder to find things and every page seems to take up to 40 seconds to load.

Not a single comment likes the "update"...

The image-heavy UI could work for a news site but for a download archive not really. Most users surely use the page as a download catalog and for this the previous grid view with the selection via dropdowns in any case more reasonable. And please revert to the page browser and no "load more" button.

Where on earth are the DMs?

    This exactly.

Please, PLEASE, listen to your users. So far we're at over 80 comments, and there is not one single positive comment. This is an unmitigated failure and was never done with the users or their feedback in mind. It very clearly wasn't thought through or tested.
Great you've got a new back-end.... congrats, now fix it.

Have to agree - the new site might look nice, but functionally its terrible. Updates are now multiple clicks. I cannot see how I un subscribe to a mod (edit at 11/07/23 @1933- the button tp remove has now appeared below the d/l button). The download button moves to the bottom of the screen depending on screen size. My view of my downloaded mods keeps changing to all (it used to stay on updated needed). The view of my downloads is terrible (even with the slider. The ads don't fit in their boxes and their are ads popping up left right and centre. 💀The flight news section is annoying and i would prefer to switch it off. I have plenty of news sites, i don't need that on a file sharing site.

Horrible, login is impossible to find, disastrous and uncomfortable appearance, ugly, unpleasant. The image of the addons is not appreciated. It is so annoying that I prefer not to enter.
The old web was fast and easy to use.

Sorry guys but this is truly bad. User-unfriendly and ugly.
    E

Yep, I might as well consider stopping using flightsim.to then, full stop. It's gotten worse not better. If you keep up you might as well close the site down or at least consider having a owner who now what the people as a communty wants
    T

This site is all about new uploads and now one has to scroll way down to find them. That‘s a big issue. Please change back to the old but much better design.

    You're crazy bro
    S

This is awesome. The site really needed an update. Thanks for sharing with the community.

What happened to Changelog? How are we supposed to know what changed? So many things are missing, I hope you get it updated soon.
    e

so this is a bad design, was a lot better before,to bad i have buy addon in this store, but will try to get at other places in future if this stay as is now...also think about to remove all my uploads again.
    A

Where is the bell that existed on the top right corner to show if we had any updates? That is needed, bring it back.

Who designed this? It’s now next to impossible to see the livery thumbnails behind the text - if you can find them at all underneath all the clutter about repainters and their karma. I work with designers for a living and would never have signed this off. Please revise and restore the functionality of the old design.
    A

The changelog is in the Timeline, you need to click each update there to see the changelog.

    e

    was good before,bad now

@Exquisite Great you make a button "My Updates" is this a joke? it is not the only think! You destroy the workflow of many users! It's totally confusing! You can't see how many new uploads have been added since the last visit to the site! The menu bar is only available in English. You need more steps to find what you're looking for! The layout of the images is terrible, the font covers the whole picture!

You obviously have no idea. Ever heard the saying if it isn't broken don't fix it.... First impressions is what makes things good and normally only get one shot of it. I guess you can't see the clutter etc
    J

I don't like it but give it time it will all come together.

If by “little spoiled brats” you mean “a communications professional who supervises design,” then yes.
If by “before even letting the system have a go” you mean “after using the new design to try to find things,” then yes.
Complaining about the complaint is sort of a sad ritual drama, isn’t it?

Oh my goodness, I can't imagine a more amateurish lightbox for scrolling through the pictures of a mod. You see portions of images, and it doesn't scroll by image, the images are cropped so you can't see anything... wow. And then when you click on an image to zoom it larger, you can't go backwards in the list, you can only click forwards.
And I realize it's random, but, how come the zoomed in mod in the middle of pictures is a Cup mod, instead of a worthwhile addon? We got rid of the preponderance of Cup mods intruding on our experience years ago, why are they back?
Edit: I take it back, it's not random... Why in the WORLD would you feature cup mods as the largest images in a list?????The ability for my eye to recognize what each addon is is hard enough to do now with the new layout, to feature stuff I could care less about is insane.

Updating to something better is good, this is not. This is a terrible regression. Form over function and shouldnýt have been deployed in this state. *My Download/update management is regressed massively*search function / searching in categories is so unintuitive it's almost impossible *Search result dont show the content creator*changelogs are hardly visible*categories are a mess.. hidden, hard to find, in unsorted lists... ....
    A

Being a Front End Dev and UI Designer, I could state that is a positive change, old version wasn't bad, it was simple but it needed to be more modernish like this one.

Styling and the overall new design are very great, but some changes need to be done in the UX (Estructure)

Quick.... Ctrl + Z and undo all changes made within the last 24 hrs. This new update is ___HORRIBLE!___

good i spend no money for premium,so i have not pay the guys wat did this mess..............it if i were premium,i want my money back.......or is it better for premium, and this is the cheap version?

My eyes are burning. The new format is awful. In addition, the creator name should be prominently displayed on downloads tiles as well. Please implement a light theme too. The dark theme is torture.

There is at least a light theme, bottom left under your avatar, the sun icon.

never change a good running system,so this is wat we get now.....i hate updates!!!

Yeah, this is not going to work without some changes.
I love that the list of addons is long now and not multiple pages. The problem this causes with the way it's currently programmed, if I click on an addon, it opens it in the same page. Ok, not so bad. But when I hit the browser Back button, I end up at the top of the page, and I have no idea where I was. And if I've pressed the "Show More" button, ouch!
Either you have to open a new page when I click on an addon, or you're going to have to figure out how to program the page so it remembers where I was and goes back there when I hit the Back button.
I want the option for a list again for the addons I've downloaded.I like that it's now ordered by latest update download by default, that's good. But I have to admit, right now it's really hard for my eyes to read the "icon" for each download. There's just not enough space for my eyes to recognize each item as an item, and I'm on a 4K 55" monitor. I don't need reading glasses, and the issue is not that any fonts are too small.

I figured out why my eyes are having such a hard time scanning... the icons are all different sizes, and my eye never knows if it needs to go up or down to go to the next icon too the right. Ouch!
    T

What happend to the website? Its way harder to find things now, i want the activity list, i want to see all new addons etc waw major fail i think.

Well. If this isn't an example of a UX project based on a whim rather than extensive testing and research I don't know what is. What a mess of poorly thought out ideas about what flightsim.to thinks users want, as opposed to what users actually want.
If it wasn't just the design maybe I could get used to it, but EVERYTHING 404's. Was this even tested?
    J

I'm not a fan. I wasn't a huge fan of the previous iteration either, but at least it was more concise and straightforward. Now, it takes longer, more clicks, and more work to do the same thing, not to mention the barrage of unnecessary information on every page. At this point, I'd prefer if FS.to just emulated what every other forum or download site template has. These redesigns every other month are becoming cumbersome. Please, FS.to, stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

Yup. There's also a complete failure to understand this site from a "product" perspective, like, how does this site, as a product, make flight simmers lives easier? Right now it does the opposite.
    M

if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This is the worst "update" I have seen to a site ever. GG devs....

well previous one WAS WAYY BETTER too much info is cramped up in this new ui!
    F

I know there is almost always a backlash after any big UI / UX change to websites and applications. Sometimes I think that it’s just a case of people needing a bit of time to adapt to change, however in this case I really think the new site has been released far too soon. Lots of missing functionality and poor flow through the pages. I think there is a glimmer of potential in the cleaner design but right now the execution feels half baked and poorly thought out. I’ll probably hold off uploading my next add-ons until this improves.
What was the rush to release the update knowing that some features were missing?

for the love of god go back to a code bootcamp to learn web design with love from a senior web developer
    P

Don't dismiss all the negative comments with "Oh, it's just because it's new - they will soon get used to it". You had done something completely unnecessary and made the site worse. I'll be visiting FS.to a lot less from now on.

    Yup, completely agree

Overall design is cleaner, and we have to get use to it a bit, but a few things I'm missing;- the search bar when in a category, for example I search for a 737-800 livery I would like to search int there only so not ALL things that are made for it. (and if you want to keep it out, pls make the selected filters active into the next search.)- The changelog block on the side or in general.- the livery section is close to impossible to use, just too much text, please split it back up by developer.- make all the blocks from files the same height, it is now really hard to scan over them due to them all having a different height and placing the title on different heights.- since I don't have gotten update yet, but it would be nice to also have a notification number that show the amount of updates that are available instead of the explanation mark- last one, in the previous version, it was possible to remove an already downloaded file, so it wouldn't show up in the update available tab. This was so handy since something don't work out or what ever, and I stop using that downloaded file (so also deleted from my system)
I realy like the new design idea but the current implementation just removed to much so that it als feels like a step back.

very very bads colours - bad choice

Usually i am fan of changing the design of an internet site but in this case its probably the most worst change ever. Sorry but it is anything but intuitive. It took me 5 minutes to find out how to log in and meanwhile i already forgot it again. The UI is just a catastrophy. If this is just a a late joke for first April .... then well done. You got me and all others too. But pls go back to old UI!

Since i dont get along i am afraid i cant use this site any longer. Its such a mess and has absolutely nothing to do with getting along with it. If they have balls they would offer both designs and the new one will loose within some days in a very clear way.

Too much focus on feel not enough focus on actually being useful.
    g

I think you're going backward with this new site. I realize, you may not be able to go back to the old site, but can you get some of the community onboard to make it better?

RIP this, Sceneries only viewable as this graphical overview, I'm no tablet user wanting eye candy, WE NEED A LIST WITH TEXT WITHOUT BULLSHIT ICONS
Why did you break your page, it was so great before :'(
    A

This new layout seems optimised for use on tablets - where not a single flightsim user would ever use the site on. Nothing about it makes any sort of sense. And what does changing the back end have to do with the front end? They are seperated for a reason so you can change one without fucking up the other. Ihr seid deutsch, oder? Wie kann man ein Update so hart verkacken mein Freund? Schmeißt den Designer bitte umgehend raus.

    This. Is. Awful.
As many have stated, you have taken many steps backwards in usability. The color scheme is blah, but one can adapt. Everything takes longer to do now and is less intuitive.
Please offer a way to revert to the old style.

Sorry but this seems like a downgrade, clearly visible functions are now kind of hidden away in the submenu etc. at least give us a choice which version we want to use...

The new design is terrible, confusing. A big shit :( 🤬

I'm afraid I have to note the same as others, which is the fact that there appears to be no way to clear the 'New Uploads' so we can get a look at what's come in since our last visit. That really MUST be addressed.
    D

+1 This was a big complaint of the old system. When I wanted something in particular I had to think of all the possible ways that it could be entered. Sometimes I got one page of results and sometimes I got three. I'd have thought that this would be addressed.
    F

Sorry but this design is god aweful, it's so hard to navigate it.and why use a masonry grid layout? use a even grid please.what used to be a hover mega menu item is now taking 2-3 clicks to get somewhere.also please NEVER use lazyloading pages again, make it paginated as normally.Better yet just revert it to the old design.Don't fix what isn't broken - kind regards a ex web dev
    F

i'm pretty sure his analytics live stats will show this decrease :)

Agreed. I like the speed of the new site, but, so far that's about it. But I can see potential. But the layout has to be changed so it's not a jumble my eye can't organize. And of course all the missing features have to be added back again.I don't like my profile in the bottom left, but maybe I'll get used to that.
I understand you're all excited to share what's coming for your site (flightsim.to folk), but why release it when it's not even halfway done?I realize the major UI elements are here, but, we don't come here to ogle elements of a new UI design. We come here to get things done, and we can't anymore. Please finish quickly before you die on the vine.

Very terrible....please go back to the old Design!!!!
    c

This new design will take some getting used to. Websites universally have the user account stuff in the top right corner like the old site did. Having it on the bottom left is very unconventional. Therefore, users aren’t gonna like it because it’s not when we’re used to. If you swap the user account stuff with the New Upload button, users might like it better.

lemme get that old website back

aside from behind the scenes performance stuff what was really wrong with the old site, this one is just really unintuitive and absolutely flooded with ads, basically unusable
    W

This style isn't an upgrade. Everything is dark, hidden, and featureless. It reflects a sort of stylistic cowardice, making my visits on PC, 1080 and 4K a worse experience (not tried smartphone yet). Usually when developers minimize UI real estate, it's because something else on-screen is more important. However user profiles and intrusive ads aren't what I consider important, so the UI has no reason to be so tiny and unnavigable. Nor do I want blown up images of addons I'm not interested in; let the users filter their interests at least a little and THEN hit them with large imagery; then you know you're not wasting 99% of your bandwidth and 99% of my time.

My gosh you need to fire who ever thought this was a good look. Its utterly confusing and looks a mess.

Right? We complained about that before, and I never saw them again, thankfully. And now they're back stronger than ever.

Redesigns are subjective and will always upset a percentage of readership. But my most-used process has lost functionality and performance. Specifically, I would navigate to the new uploads page, and then scroll through and download what I wanted. Then I would mark the new downloads as read, so next time I would only see files new to me.
The marking as read functionality is gone.I see less information about new uploads.Performance is much slower and it takes me longer to scroll through new downloads. The different-sized tiles makes scanning the list difficult.I don't know how this is going to scale if I'm away from the site for a number of days, but I'm afraid it's going to be hard to navigate when I'd have 5 or 6 pages on the old design. The download button needs to be visually more distinct once you click through.
Please give us a dedicated New Uploads only page, with the "Mark as Read" functionality restored.

BIG BIG BIG mistake guys! Go back to the old one which was very EASY to use, intuitive and welcoming. I hope you listen to users.

The menu bar are now in different language! Thanks for that! If you set the slider from e.g. 3 to 5 items per line and then come back to the page, it is automatically set to 3. Please make the images the same size for a better overview. A timeline for the things that have been added since the user's last visit would be very helpful. A division into categories (liveries, scenery, aircraft, miscellaneous, etc. as before) would be nice! You can see for yourself that hardly anything has happened since you uploaded the new page. Since you switched off the page, about 5-6 new items have been added! There's nothing wrong with a new layout, but please with the same options as before and a little clearer for the eyes!

Why do you have to change a page that was good and clear into such a chaotic page, I don't understand that, too bad

Also, I think this experience is hopefully a great lesson in rolling out an update to a small user base and gathering feedback before throwing the switch on the entire user base.

Horrible update, last version was much easier, I can't even go back and see all of the files I've "liked" which is a shame. This update broke how easy it used to be, yeah the UI looks a lot nicer and cleaner but I felt this update went backwards instead of forward

So overall I do have to agree with the majority of users here that nothing was wrong with the old design. This design isn't terrible, but a masonry layout doesn't at all work well for this kind of concept. If you're going to stick with the masonry layout, can you at least after the title of the add on add in how long ago it was uploaded so it can make sense what is newer?
The My Updates doesn't have a filter or sort, either. It would be nice if we could view new uploads on a separate page like on the old site, also.
I'm hopeful you're going to bring back all the old pages and functionalities of the old site. A site as unfinished as this really shouldn't have been released. It would be understandable if some pages here and there didn't work, but the entire site is basically paralyzed and unusable with no timeline of when it'll be back to normal.

Good thing first: the site is indeed quite a bit more responsive. Well done on that. Well, except for when the site keeps timing out as it currently keeps doing all the time.
BUT:Whoever thought this design was ripe for release is out of their mind. You've somehow managed to make an already very cluttered navigation even worse. The search is as bad as ever. New releases still can't be properly filtered. The changelog is utter garbage now. The individual entries and this blog as well waste huge amounts of screen real estate - why is this only 1250px wide on my 3440px screen, with huge empty spaces on the sides, turning your site into a scroll orgy, and can I send you an invoice for my new mouse when my mousewheel inevitably breaks because of you?
This revamp was NOT ready for release at all. Not in the slightest. It needs to go back into development, as the entire base concept is disastrously wrong, and the last backup before the release being redeployed. Releasing this as banana software that ripens with suffering user is highly unprofessional.

"We are thrilled to unveil the all-new version of Flightsim.to, a comprehensive overhaul that brings a fresh design, improved user experience, and enhanced performance. "Fresh design, ok, I'll grant you that, but improved user experience? In what way exactly? It is now so chaotic. and it is not even ready! Enhanced performance? I could be mistaken, but it seems a lot slower than before. It takes forever to load now. I'm surprised that you thought it was a good idea to share something with us that is not finished. I'm seriously contemplating no longer uploading here.

True, whoever is responsible for this can't possibly ever have actually used the site, they clearly only cared for the looks and not for the usability.

and its really looking like a businees tool. Something like oracel, sap or navision. really not good. better hurry up to roll back before other (site)competitors exploit this advantage for themselves...

How do we get rid of the dark black screen version? I can't see the information unless I change many settings in Nvidia Control Panel. And then other websites that used to look good, no longer do.
A dark screen theme will chase away 50% of the users (you can't read the text) !

The age old saying "If it's not broken, don't try to fix it" comes to mind... Really poor UI

Q: Can you bring back an option for the old design?A: Unfortunately this is not possible. Not only has the design of the site changed, but our entire backend has been rewritten and is therefore not compatible with the previous version of the site. Then roll back the backend, too. You'll have a backup of the entire state before the update if you're not utterly incompetent. The site in its current state is not even remotely ripe for release and needs to be reworked from the very base design principle. I'm not arguing that the site couldn't have used a redesign, as the old one had quite a few issues. But a redesign should make a product BETTER, not a lot worse.

i did a complete run before i made my comment.

A lot of feedback mostly terrible from the skimming I did through it. I'll bring some positivity to it. I like the actual mod pages now. Comments are way easier to read, like the click to read changelog that's an improvement. What I don't like is the hamburger menu on the left stacked with a second menu for the store or something? I would ditch something there as menu layer on menus is not user friendly.
The front page I think is nice - I could care less about the "discover" portion and it's filled full of stuff I wouldn't look at, and the different size image on the front make skimming that section for something interesting a mess but not impossible as others have said.
I think over all the intentions were good the execution seems a bit rushed. What would be killed is if you trialed the new sites before going live, sort of like reddit does with old reddit/new reddit or something like that. Sorry for all the hate you're getting, heh.

"Q: Can you bring back an option for the old design?A: Unfortunately this is not possible." Wrong, it is possible. Just restore from a backup. Something anyone that has a brain cell would do before any major change. It isn't a question of being possible, it's only one of being willing. Your new design is a disaster, your own statement of some things being 'missing' shows this was not ready to be put out at all, yet you are electing to ignore users.

One really bad bug this update has triggered is, if an uploader has made multiple folders available as a choice (eg the Solaseed 737 fleet pack that has the standard liveries as one folder and special liveries as another) there is no ability to download the secondary folder. Unless the ux has changed there to something hidden, it just automatically downloads the main upload. Will affect a lot of uploads on the .to that have opted for that route to give users an option to download just the parts they wanted.

Humor again: The next update is coming, yes you'll need special glasses to see your Flightsim.to as before!

The "My Updates" section is not working, I go to it and it shows a lot of mods but does not detail which ones needs updating. I know they all don't as only the other day I had 2 maybe 3 that needed updating. Now there's no indication at all which is far from ideal, certainly feels like a case of "if it aint broke dont fix it", unfortunately you've broken it more...

My Updates is not working, it shows all my mods but I know only 2 or 3 need actually updating...please beta test this stuff before release, your name isn't Asobo...

Need a new website pilot...as soon as possible!!!

This design is terrible. It's so inefficient and non-userfriendly. Visually doesn't look very pleasing and it's difficult to navigate. Old design was a lot better and made more sense in general

Thank you for your new design. I have a new wonderful example now for my UX students to show how not to do it. You've managed to redesign this site by improving exactly nothing.
The keywords for this design for this are:* confusing* narcissistic* unnecessary* partly unusable
There is a difference between "new" and "better".
And if you write that it is not possible to use the old design with the new backend, then you have made the biggest mistake in site relaunch anyone can make.
Everybody makes mistakes. Show your true greatness, listen to your community, and just go back to the old design.

Especially the homepage lost some kind of a "sorted" elemental structure. It was always nice to have new uploads, updates or trends in blocks as well as the most popular files out of the category. I get the feeling that i really need to search stuff on the homepage already. Also it would be great to have at least notifications and messages shown directly instead of the left menu bar. But with some criticism also some nice words: The speed has increased very much on my side. Thank you!

Really not a fan of the new layout. Obviously there was no beta testing. The whole layout seems very chaotic and not logical as the older version was. Takes several more clicks to get where one wants to go, particularly "What's New". Please revert to the previous "Style"..

Thanks everyone for their valueable input. We're almost at 200 comments now and it's great to see how many of you share their opinion with us - greatly appreciated. However, the more comments that are written here, the more challenging it becomes for us to keep track of them all. We will now close the comments at this point, but will continue to take into account the feedback we have already received. If you would like to provide further feedback, please do not hesitate to use the "Feedback" button located in the bottom right corner. This helps us gather all the feedback in one place and address it accordingly. We are already on it.

Reasons for the UpdateWe understand that the changes we have made, as with any change after using an existing system for over 3 years in time, require some time to get used to and may elicit mixed feedback. It lies within human nature that change is not welcome, specially not if a system hasn't seen a change in years. However, we had reached the limits of the old system, which had faithfully served us for 3 years. Progress is an ongoing journey, and in order to continue growing, we must constantly evolve and innovate. Time does not remain stagnant, and it is essential to embrace change and development to stay ahead.

Missing FeaturesMany of the missing features some of you have mentioned here have not been removed; they are just located in different places due to the new design. For example, features such as wishlists, new updates, changelogs, and individual feeds are still available. Once found, rest assured, your familiar functionalities remain intact, just a few clicks away in their new location. Let me assure you that, as described in the article above, we are currently in a transitioning phase. Missing features will be available again as usual in a few days. It would be a mistake to believe that this is the final version of the website — we are far from it.
We have already implemented numerous updates today.
    - The "Since Your Last Visit" page is back. You can find it in the left sidebar right below the Home icon.- The My Updates page allows one-click access to your latest updates. It is located in the navigation bar on the main page.- Dependencies have been reintegrated into the file pages.- Translations have been added and will be gradually implemented.- The My Downloads page now defaults to Update available.- The option to mark files as updated or remove them from the list has been integrated.
    Furthermore:
    - You can view the File Changelogs in the right sidebar by clicking on the respective version number. We may also reintroduce a dedicated Changelog list.- Notifications are coming back and will be much more organized, ensuring you don't miss any updates. In the meantime, which should be within 2 days, you can visit the Notification Center to view all your notifications.- Date/time information for uploads will be displayed if previously missing.- A category-specific search is already feasible through the Discover page, but we will also bring back the category-specific search function in the category pages.
We want to assure you that there is no need to be concerned about the new version lacking features compared to the previous one. We genuinely value your feedback, and we want to express our sincere appreciation for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We understand that navigating through changes can pose some initial challenges, but we are confident that this is just a matter of getting used to in its initial phase. For the latest updates, we encourage you to follow our official Twitter page.
