    FlyByWire a publié une vidéo montrant un vol complet de son très attendu A380X pour Microsoft Flight Simulator. La vidéo, d'une durée d'environ 45 minutes, couvre l'ensemble du processus, du démarrage à l'arrêt. L'A380X, très attendu par la communauté des simulateurs de vol, a atteint la troisième place dans l'enquête de Navigraph sur les avions les plus attendus en 2023. Bien que la date de sortie ne soit pas encore confirmée, cette vidéo donne un aperçu complet des progrès et des capacités de l'A380X. Regardez la vidéo ici.

    En plus de la mise à jour de l'A380X, FlyByWire a aujourd'hui mis à jour son populaire avion Freeware A32NX avec le nouveau FMSv2. Cette mise à jour inclut des fonctionnalités telles que la capacité d'approche manquée, des plans de vol alternatifs, un routage FMS amélioré, et une logique de contrainte améliorée. La mise à jour est disponible dans la version de développement via le FBW-Installer.

    It wasn't a thing for the A320, it definitely will not be a thing for the A380. The Airbus is one of the easiest aircraft to fly. Take the time to learn it and enjoy it.

    Relax. They're a very small but dedicated team who is not going to release a half working product. They'll release it when it's ready. Not to mention they're not PMDG or iniBuilds or TFDi who have a team of devs who are either full time or some full time some part time that do this development thing as their fulltime job. They're all volunteers that do this in their free time. It'll be here soon. We're all excited. More patience.

    The developers have also said in their Discord server that certain systems and features are very much not ready for prime-time yet. For example, the engine model is apparently just a "souped-up" A320neo engine model that they put in just to get the plane off the ground for flight testing. There are also a few features of the real A380 that can't be implemented due to MSFS limitations; for example, the External Taxi Aid Camera System (ETACS). In short, it might not be nearly as close to being ready for release as it might appear to be. We just have to wait and see when it ends up happening.

    Luckily there is a place on FBW you can donate. With all this complexity I would feel bad taking this for free. I am looking forward to this release. As always, FBW products are cutting edge and inspires not only simmers but developers alike. Blue skies and tail winds :)

    We owe this team a lot. When MSFS was released, all default airliners were useless. It took another 2 years to get something good. FBW team gave us the A320 immediately!
