Odd. Rudder/pedal axis and discrete inputs are considered. If your issue is with NWS, please, check the UserGuide.

hi, can you fix some model troubles too? defog lever and pressure for the suit, and more importantly the turn switcher for autopilot all those stuff unclickable in ms24. and legs... they aren't flexing, aircraft like on the skis, no left no right banking on the ground, all i can it broke them on landing:) and this stuff have a limitation for brakes only when air brake opened, if not that thing strong and not overheat like that, i think:)
about nws. is it really ask to press the trigger or only once depress it for toggling? if second i guess i need to change the logic in the controls from constant press to push toggle or release. why just not use asobo default way?
    thank you
p.s. engine... in default ssw the fuel flow independent of altitude, and burn as much as throttle, probably rpm too. this one stop on 6 and get more only after speed grows enough, probably rpm dependency, but rpm stuck at 100%, at submach the fuel flow get down with altitude, when you at 2m, engine stuck and has no reaction on the throttle, and get lost power only after lost speed on g/aoa. is that all right?
p.p.s. i was wrong about rpm, at hypersonic that thing go to limit 135%

I'm currently in a flight where the AFCS won't engage. I have failures set to 0 so it shouldn't be due to that, but as soon as I flip the switch it goes back to off. Interestingly, later in the flight it started to engage, so something earlier in the flight must've been blocking it from engaging or was immediately disengaging it.

Check the trim and flight control stick position. If they're inadvertently beyond the high-level force switch limits it will disengage. Pitch rate and Nz beyond limits will also disengage the AFCS.

The aircraft can be maneuvered in CSS mode, but within some limits.

Ok my guess is trim then, because I noticed it would engage again when I was going slower and had adjusted trim. Actually on the subject of trim, I've noticed that there is a left rolling tendency present since release. I can mitigate it with trim but thought I should mention it. Amazing work though!

Hi, The problem occurs on both the S4 and the SU5 beta. I tried disabling the landing gear effect but to no avail. We are flying the F104 with your mod in 2 and we all have the same problem. It's strange that only we have this problem.
I wanted to point out that while flying with the VR we noticed that the tips/pylon selector as well as the green stabilizer light are not clickable.
Thank you for your commitment to making this aircraft more and more beautiful.

this is wonderful! one of my favorites revived for msfs2024 ! does it work for the 2 seater too?

    Thanks.
No, unfortunately it can't work with the twin-seater. It would involve a significant rework just to make it compatible.

Maybe later, but it's not planned in the short term. However, other ADV aircraft are...so, stay tuned ;)

Hi, I noticed that during take-off, the plane rests on the right or left wheel and tilts slightly, after which it is impossible to take off because the plane swerves to the right or left. Do you have an idea why this happens?
Thanks and congratulations for the mod.

Is it happening only after the last update?.
Is the gear damaged when it happens?
Try to disable landing gear effects in the Realism config file.

Hi - really want this to work, but I can't get engines to start. Well let me rephrase ... I first hopped in it by copying over the aircraft folder from 2020 to my 2024 directory, and using addonlinker. I then installed your mod over that directory - first time version 4.0. I hopped in, and the aircraft started. It later quit on it's own - probably 4-5 minutes. I was just messing around so I didn't think anything of it. I then tried again last night with 4.1, no go. No electrical power connects with the EPU. I tried a wipe of the install, and reinstall a fresh download of 1.3.10. I also wiped clean the 2020 wasm folder in the 2024 directory structure, still no joy. Is there some specific order that works? Or persistence that it's remembering somewhere else that could be causing an issue? On the kneeboard, when I bind a battery switch, I very briefly see some other text pop up instead of engine starter, which quickly disappears. So it seems something is responding. It feels like a simconnect variable isn't getting set correctly somehow ...

And is there a better place to ask questions? Discord?

    Hard to say…

Firstly, do a fresh install in 2020. Put ADV files in the simskunkworks-aircraft-frf104g overwritting. Then rebuild the layout.json. All this done test if it works in MSF2020.

IF it works: copy+paste the whole simskunkworks-aircraft-frf104g folder in MSFS2024 community...no addonlinker needed, AT ALL (actually that could be the cause of your problem). And rebuild the layout.json after doing that.

Finally, avoid using ANY other addon or exotic control configuration with the F-104 that could interfere the ADV mod.

Hi - so I tried all that you suggest. Fresh install for 2020. I ran it native in 2020, started up just fine. I then exited the sim, installed your mod, rebuilt the json, but does not work. Same problem in 2020 here as I had in 2024 - EPU does not provide electrical power to aircraft, though I hear the sound of it, and see the crew and carts out there. This was all with version 4.3 of the mod btw. The only version that briefly did work for me was 4.0, that first time I tried it.

I am not using any external config tool for controls in the F104. All native in-sim controls. I also tried in 2024, but same result. I suppose there could be an incompatibility with another mod, but I don't have time to mess with that any more tonight.
