Bringing parity from all recent updates Last update: CAREER HISTORICAL OPERATIONS Some of you may have noticed earlier, A brand-new Captain perk has arrived in Career Mode: Historical Operations. Once you reach Captain rank or higher with an airline, you’ll unlock a dedicated Historical Operations section where you can fly routes that your current airline operated in the past. What you can do Browse and manually bid historical flights from your airline Build full historical itineraries using the Scheduler Choose between the aircraft options that were actually available for that historical flight Fly historical operations regardless of your current Career location (no jumpseating or positioning required) Historical Operations are tied specifically to the airline/ICAO version you work for, so airline history stays accurate. If you move to another airline, you’ll need to reach Captain there before unlocking its Historical Operations. Rewards & Career progression Historical flights earn: 100% normal Career XP 50% of your normal hourly pay They still count toward your: Career flight hours Promotions Reputation Achievements Fatigue Performance/scoring history However, Historical Operations do NOT count toward Type Rating progression. You also don't need to own the relevant Career Type Rating to dispatch one, you simply need to fly one of the aircraft assigned to that historical route. The only one I cannot do is the X Plane 10 one, it is not maintained anymore and I don't have a copy of the simulator so I just cannot justify maintaining a new simulator that is not broadly used

I would appreciate a one time payment possible, even if it's a bit more expensive than the current annual plan to help you with the costs but ever since I saw it on British AvGeek channel I've been very addicted to this

I also would love a tour based on the Lockheed Tristar since I recently bought the IniBuilds plane

The reason FlyHub optional subscription exists right now is not because I want to “legally rip people off.” I’m a solo developer building this in my spare time outside my DevOps job, and FlyHub relies on data that has to be maintained, expanded, and updated every month across all the airlines we support.
That data is not free, and as FlyHub grows with more airlines, routes, historical networks, and monthly updates, the ongoing costs grow as well.
A fixed one-time price would probably be easier to sell, and I completely understand why many people prefer it. The issue is that, at the moment, I haven’t been able to secure a long-term data agreement that would make that model sustainable.
There are several reasons for that, including long-term commercial licensing, the rights to store aviation data over time for historical routes purposes, and the ongoing cost of maintaining and updating that data regularly.
That said, I do understand the appeal of a one-time purchase. If I’m able to get a better long-term deal for the data and make the numbers work, a one-time option may come in the future.
