    Description

    V2.0 - Made compatible with MSFS2024.  Some small fixes.  Download for both 2020 & 2024.

    V1.7 - Cleaned up vertex count. Small adjustments for WU17 changes.

    V1.6.2 - Fixed errors associated with SU12.  Additional foliage cleanup.

    V1.6.1 - Additional clean-up that has popped up since last update.  Added some additional boats moored around the area.

    V1.6 - Fixed underwater docks/pontoons/marinas/roads/bridges throughout the Portsmouth area.

    V1.5 - Reverting back to V1.31 due to copyright infringement.  Sorry folks.

    V1.4 - Removed google photogrametry marina and replaced with library asset marina models.  Added hand modeled cranes.  Added library asset cars in various parking lots.  Added animated Union Jack flag somewhere in the scene... can you find it?  Also replaced google HMS Victory with 3D model

    NOTE: You will need to download the Vessels scenery pack from the in-game marketplace (it's free) in order to see all the 3D models.

    V1.31 - General cleanup around the port.  Added additional scenery objects.

    V1.3 - Updated to correct for any modellib.bgl conflicts

    V1.2 - Corrected some small errors and removed random folliage.  Also added POI marker for HMS Victory

    V1.1 - Revised textures for Darington and Duke class to reduce light exposure (now less white, more gray)

    V1.0 - Updated scenery for Portsmouth Naval Station, including

    • Updated Royal Navy ship models
      • Invincible Class CV
      • Darington Class DD
      • Duke Class DD
      • River Class OPV
      • Hunt Class Miner
    • HMS Victory
    • HMS Warrior
    • HMS M33 DD
    • Ainslee Racing HQ
    • Marina near RN Submarine Museum


    YES, this scenery package is compabtable with the UK World Update.

    Thanks for updating this. I'm also now seeing the portsmout/IOW hovercraft if that was you then well done!....if not well done for updating Portsmouth anyway!!

    Hi @FreakyD - I wanted to ask you. How is that possible that you update it for MSFS2024 (probably add /remove some stuff) and it still works in MSFS2020? I mean if you for example add new polygon using MSFS2024 SDK it also should bring the same polygon to MSFS2020 right? And if it for example removes things from MSFS2024 which are glitched it will also remove things from MSFS2020 even if they were not glitched. Is that correct?

    Also I would like to also ask you to work with the package version in the manifest.json file. It makes it easier in addon linker software to see the version and if it matches the version here. It is this line in the manifest.json file.
    "package_version": "0.1.0",

    It depends on the package type. For airports where I use my blender models, sometimes MSFS2024 has issues importing them with correct LODs. For foliage/water fixes, sometimes MSFS2024 requires a water delete polygon of "OCEAN" where 2020 used "WATER".

    As for the .json file, I've started doing that now. You can edit those files yourself for previous downloads you have.

    @FreakyD so does it mean that in the waterfix files there are for example different polygons for MSFS2024 and MSFS2020 only and each game applies them individually msfs2020 applies the polygon with water and MSFS2024 with the ocean?

    Please always put correct version number in manifest.json for all addons and updates.

    Example:
    "package_version": "2.0.0"

    Started doing that. You can always edit the .json file on your own for previous downloaded content.

    When you working on a Ship in the Water ,there would be Trees there you can use them with Vegetan than press Delite Buildings!!! :)
