Iceland Rock Formation - WIP
Mod to add the magnificent rock formations specific to Iceland, and which are missing in FS2020.
Work in Progress (WIP):
- Valahnúkamöl: done
- Hvítserkur: done / removed, present in World Update 5
- Reynisdrangar/Reynisfjara stacks: done
- Vik's church: done, needs better textures
- Cliffs of Reynisdrangar : WIP on textures improvement, but better than the "green balloon' from MFS 2020
- Dyrholaey: not started
- Arnardrangur : WIP
- Lóndrangar pair of rock: done
- Brimketill: not started
- other ?
Each rock formation has a POI.

Hi, great to see Iceland getting some love :)
I wish someone would add Drangey. It is an island in
Skagafjörður. It consists of a main island and a single column.
There were two, but one already collapsed into see. As the
story goes, these were night trolls that were traveling across
the fjord. A man troll and a female troll, along with the cow troll
they were escorting. But they got caught by the Sun and turned
to stone. The female troll still stands, but the male succumbed to
an earthquake in 1755 AD.

In Skagafjörður it is used as a huge reference point, so not being
able to see it always affects immersion.

Would Kirjufell Mountain be too daunting of a task? It's current state is really sad to see in MSFS, especially with the waterfall right next to it. Love your work man, I had to do a video of it as you, baddweapon, and ORBX have really done a fantastic job of making Iceland beautiful to fly around.

Wow ya it's pretty terrible quality. Google maps has great quality for it but I don't know what the limitations are of using their data in a Microsoft/Bing environment.

Because MFS2020 is edited by Microsoft and Bing it is Microsoft, Google is a concurrent.
