Welcome to the west of Vienna! With this mod you will have the chance to visit the western districts of the Austrian capital. Take off from Schwechat and fly over sights such as Schönbrunn Palace, Westbahnhof or Technisches Museum Wien.
You can find downtown Vienna here and the Donauinsel here

I'm reading that some are experiencing issues so from my perspective. I flew a GA, the B208 from Gayla Simulations LOWW with Vienna Landmarks (5.5gb), Donauinsel, Vienna West & had FPS in the 40's on High End settings & no crashes (I flew over all of it). My rig is not a power house but decent. An Auros Ultra Z590 running an I5 10600K stock for now on Auros 240mm AIO & a Zotac 3070 OC bumped by Nvidia auto OC also 32gb 3200 mhz Team Group on a Sabrent 1tb NVNe M.2 SSD. I'm using my 43 inch TCL 4K Roku TV with Win 10 on 4K but MSFS 2020 on 2K. Scenery to me seems OK performance wise but the sim on whole is bottomless & nothing will ever max it out. Scenery on looks is 5 stars as far as I'm concerned & am downloading"Vienna Favoriten" as soon as I submit this review, thanks for all your work !

Actually I have Vienna Inner City installed. This one works alone. Its great! But with Vienna West...PC crashes on loading the Scenery. Same with Vienna Inner City and Danube scenery -> Crash on loading. But: Danube scenery alone-> Crahs on loading. Vienna West alone -> Crash on loading...
Have got 16mb ram. GTX 1070, 1TB SSD for Sim. Greetings Mario

If you wnat to fly over large pfotogrametry area, you will need 64 GB Ram.

So why does he crash, having only one of that addons active while having 16GB RAM, but i can run one of those addons alone with 12 GB RAM? I crash when having 2 of those addons active.

Might be so that ram is the problem, but as I am capable of flying the sim all around the world, like New York, Miegs Airfield without any troubles or crash to desktop and the cities looks also fully realistic with graphics at highest level... so its disappointig that Vienna does not work...Mario

The same goes for me. But i think, i start to understand the problem a bit better. The available tools to create such addon sceneries might not be perfectly optimized yet, to let creators do freely anything they want. Also the data-sources for such addons are not "prepared" to be imported into MSFS. So it might take some more time, till tools hopefully get more and more optimized one day, to also take a bit care about resources like RAM and CPU usage. That´s all nothing, a creator of an addon has direct influence on.It´s interesting to hear, that more RAM seems to be a "workaround" for the current starte of those tools. I´m planning to get a new rig in the near future ,when hardware gets available and a bit more reasonable prized again. I never found any hints so far, if 64 GB RAM would help the sim when having lots of addons active. For sure, nothing will get faster with 64 GB RAM, but i wonder if it´s possible to stabilize framerates even more by 64 GB, so to avoid any stutters or micro-freezes in higher screen resolutions too.

Is it an easy task for you, to merge some of your addons into one, bigger one?
Like creating a new addon with the content of West+Favoriten? This could serve as a test, if it´s possible to let weaker rigs like our´s still use your content maybe.

32GB are also sufficient but the current prices are , youas said, really bad. I used to have my CTDs when loading into the scenery, because that is where most of the power is needed to generate the world. The RAM is always needed when new parts of the world are generated. If several sceneries are in one of those loading "chunks", then more RAM is required because everything needs to be loaded at the same time.

For the 2 older ones, i can use the Danube addon OR the Center addon. Having just a single one works, but having both crashes.
Haven´z tried a combination between this one and the older ones yet, but this one without any of the older ones works for me, no crash.
Unfortunately, the creator seems to be a bit unresponsive, so no idea what he´s gonna do about it...

Thanks Carlos! You can already find the city center on Flightsim (https://de.flightsim.to/file/10087/vienna-ring-road)! An eastward expansion beyond the Danube Island is not planned yet. If so, I will expand towards Floridsdorf. First I will add Favoriten at the weekend

You mentioned to take alook at the compatibility issue between the other 2 addons when done with the examns, so if you release a new one, i needed to ask about your plans.

Moin, you are right. As of today I have finished my exams and almost all of them went very well. I'll see what I can do to fix the two scenes. Does it crash on the loading screen or as soon as you are spawning? If you load Donauinsel and Ring, then it crashes, but what about e.g. having Ring and West installed at the same time? How much RAM do you have? I only had 16Gb until last week and that caused Vienna to crash... now I have 32Gb and Vienna runs without problems and even at 50 FPS in 4k

Congrats for the examn!
My rig is run by a streamingservice names "Shadow", located in NL. I have a 1080, 12 GB RAM, 2 HDDS (one for System, one for games, just mechanical HDDs, no SSDs).
Any of your addons seem to work for me alone, but i can have a couple of other addons active, too, like airfields, several GA planes, liveries, DEMs.
I did some more tests today. If i have more than one of your addons active, i can plan the flight on the ingame map, set a "from" and a "to", maybe some more waypoints. Then start the flight, the "progress bar" starts to get filled... and then after some time, the game just closes without any errors or messages.
I re-tested it, having not a single other addon than yours active. If a have 2 of yours active, it crashes the same way as mentioned.

GREAT SCENERY! THANKS!! (By the way, the General Hospital consists of 2 towers!) Now just had a brief look on Vienna-West, with having also VIENNA-FAVORITEN + Prealsoft installed. ALL IS MIGHTY. But I also had CTD with VIENNA-DONAUINSEL, therefor I don`t use it. Kind regards from AUSTRIA (the letter D siands for "democracy" ;-)
