Description
Bunnings Warehouse is an important VFR landmark (and Aussie icon) close to YSBK runway 29L. When first doing circuits Bunnings is great for gauging that perfect location just before throttle down and descent onto base.
This is my first cut of Bunnings, and improvements are bound to happen as my modeling skills improve. I have chosen to intially release Bunnings separately until it gets more mature and to reduce the size of down- and up-loads.
To install simply extract and copy the ken-ysbk-bw file to your Community folder.
NOTE: My YSBK Bankstown Airport scenery should be installed as well since both use the enhanced ground maps and this is intended as an add-on to YSBK.

Your Bunnings by itself should probably be a library item. It'll match, or be fairly close to, most other Bunnings around Australia, and would ease the problems of many model makers!

The Bunnings are very similar and using the same architectural principles. But they all have different layouts. And parking lots. Hmm. I'll think about how a set of building blocks could be used generically.

Yes, you're correct. I can see that there are a couple of standard features that they all (in my experience) have, though
They all have a main warehouse.2. They all have a timber section, either "landscape" or "portrait alignment to the main warehouseMost of them (if not all) have a garden section, again landscape or portrait to the main warehouseSOME of then have a second storey over the main warehouseALL of them have a huge carpark! All (or maybe just most) have a selection of vans, utes and trailers outside for hire. All of them have the main pedestrian access smack in the middle of the front of the buildingWith these similarities, perhaps the Lego approach would be best, as you suggest.

Bunnings! Thanks for doing our quintessential Aussie ICON justice and excited to read that a sausage sizzle is in the works. Can't wait for more of your work!
