Important info regarding World Update XIV (August 2023):
There are 6 castles that had to be excluded in this mod so they do not collide with the new assets included in the World Update XIV (list below). I am keeping the original version with all the models for everyone that wish not to download the World Update XIV points of interest, as well as the "lite" version with less castles.
(🤷 Well, now it seems that either I don´t know how to keep the original file available, or Flightsim.to has removed this feature completely. Right now it is only possible to download the Lite version.)
This mod replaces generic buildings of castles and churches around Slovakia.
This mod currently includes:
- New Castle (Nový Zámok) in Banská Štiavnica
- Nitra castle, model exchanged for photogrammetric in v0.2
- Trenčín castle (photogrammetric)
- Likava castle
- Tematín castle
- Gýmeš Castle (photogrammetric)
- Hrušov Castle (photogrammetric)
- Spišská kapitula
- The gate of Deserted castle (brána Pustého hradu, photogrammetric)
- Zvolen castle
- Červený kameň (Red Stone) Castle, custom model hand made by romjan1599
- Strečno castle (excluded after WU14)
- Orava castle (excluded after WU14)
- Bojnice castle (excluded after WU14)
- Krásna Hôrka castle (excluded after WU14)
- Spiš Castle (photogrammetric) (excluded after WU14)
- Čachtice castle (excluded after WU14)
Installation: Unzip the downloaded archive and place the "SK-castles" folder into your Community folder of MSFS (to find it, please see https://flightsim.to/help/getting-started/locating-the-community-folder-of-my-game ).
Installation with WU14 installed: Please delete the original folder "SK-castles" and download the "Lite" version. Unzip it and place the folder into your Community folder of MSFS.

Problem must be somewhere else, I use 20 m resolution for a long time and had no problem until this last SK Castle update. ALL CASTLES FLOAT IN THE AIR. can it be fixed?

Lebo niekto tu spominal nejaky mod s SK sceneriou, kde su potom tie hrady vo vzduchu, ale nemam cas vyrobit verziu aj pre ten mod.. // Hi guys, Sorry, I havent been here for a while. Are you sure that in vanilla the castle is in the air? Because somebody have mentioned that there is a scenery plugin for MSFS where the castles are misplaced, but, unfortunately, I do not have enough spare time to create a version for this mod only...

Hello , there is a new better terrain for Slovakia DEM 20 from Troglydus on flightsim.to and some castles start flowing because of changed height. For example Trencin. It is possible to adapt your scenery to this new terrain model. It means there will be a separate model for this 20 m DEM terrain. Thnks.
