    Description

    V2.0 - Made compatible with MSFS2024.  Added small details throughout.  Download for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024.

    V1.6 - Smoothed out RW33R as much as possible.  This area has a seam between tiles that inteferes whenever you attempt to revise the scenery.  Fixed some textures.  Added helipad.

    V1.5.1 - Added RW33L (grass strip), new ground textures and 3D hay bails in empty field

    V1.5 - Added new parking spots, ground textures and taxiway network.  Also added new 3D assets, both hand modeled in blender and stock library assets.  I also cleaned up textures used, which decreases the size of the file.

    Installation Instructions:

    Delete S43 from your community folder, install this latest version in your community folder.  This will ensure the old, unused textures are removed from your system, thus saving HDD space.

    V1.4 - Added additional details throughout the airfield.  Fixed some elevation issues that recently popped up.

    V1.3 - Added hand modeled candystripe hangers and barn.  Added HARVEY FIELD signage.  Added correct hanger types (requires my KSNA scenery).

    V1.2 - Added animated people and a few other small details

    V1.1- Updated to correct for any modellib.bgl conflicts

    V1.0 - Scenery updates for Harvey Field in Snohomish WA, USA, including

    • Added candy cane striped hangers
    • Added fencing around the field
    • Revised GA parking spots
    • Added various static objects around the field
    • Added parked static GA airplanes

    What a great scenery! Looks very nice to walk around in MSFS 2024. I want to start my career here and was looking for something just like this, thank you! I did notice the bump on the runway as i was going slow... ill add a screenshot, also the far set of overed parking in MSFS 2024 don't seem to have any structures on them, but still a great work!

    Yeah, I see that bump in MS2024. Not sure why that is showing up as I use a flatten airfield and terraform poly to make sure the field is flat. It does not appear in MS2020. Could be some compatibility issue.

    As for the missing hangars... you need to download my KSNA scenery. The 3D asset resides in that package.

    My apologies, I just returned to S43 and taxied all around it without encountering a collision, so I don't know what was happening the first time I tried the update. However, as another user has commented here, there is a nasty bump half way down the runway which can cause taildraggers to tip over when landing. Apart from that, it's really nice to fly from here again, you did a great job.

    I've been enjoying this airport for some time, but the latest version has inserted several invisible crash objects around the airfield. You have to turn off collision detection to use it. It would be great to see this fixed.

    Yes great work.Love this part of the Country to fly VFR..Great scenery.Bring in as much of detail you can.Great atmosphere.Greetings from the Netherlands

    some hangars seem to be floating 6 inches above the ground, is that something that you're already aware of? Also, do you plan on adding the lounge, cafe, steakhouse, and runway markings soon?


    looks great so far! I would just make a few minor tweaks/fixes and add a few more of the buildings or runway markings to make it match a little more accurately

    Thanks again. For some reason I'm not seeing the last hangar rows....they're all flat. There is one garbage can on the corner of the hangar buildings though.

    Ok will get that. Do you think it's possible to add the runway numbers and centerline stripes? Google earth seems to show it S43 has having markings now.

    Fun little airport and those power lines come up on ya, fast!


    One thing I did notice is the runway is missing the centerline and markings, and there is way too many taxiway edge lights near the end of the taxiway and where it meets runway 33R.
