the La Ronde Amusement park in montreal with extensive night lighting and animated lights.
(this could be an FPS killer and I 've tried to keep it as low poly as possible but be warned you will need a strong PC to use this mod) I spent a lot of time removing trees from the google photogrammetry which cuts down the number of polys these were replaced with standard MSFS vegitation.
there's over 400 lights in the scene which really puts a hit on performance but the results are worth it.

Tried La Ronde scenery with the Savage Cub and I get 30 fps but with the Cessna 172 with floats I only get 11-12 fps. So the Cub will be my choice to fly around Montreal.

thats weird. the only thing I can think of is that the 172 is using the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, the savage cub is using steam gauges.
(no doubt you will have the working title version of this GPS downloaded?)
you could try lowering your glass cockpit refresh rate in general options
as a matter of interest what are your PC specs?
I'm running a ryzen7 3800@4ghz and an RTX 2070 super running at 2560x1440 on high-end preset (with depth of field and motion blur turned off because I hate those) and I get 40-50 fps with either plane. glass cockpit refresh set to medium

My specs are: i7-8700k, GeForce GTX 1070, Mem 16 GB, SSD drive, 150 mbps Internet,
My settings Glass cockpit; low, Depth of field; ultra, motion blur; off
I am pretty sure the Garmin is the problem.

yeah that would be my guess, does the frame rate go up again if you go to an external view in the 172?

The frame rate stays pretty much the same outside or inside the cockpit, which I find strange since the Garmin should not interfere with the outside view.

Great stuff. It looks beautiful at night. A downside, is that your buildings suffer from low polygones counts, so they have a lot of lines. The Asobo version is better there if you look at these shots. May be, you can let some of their buildings pass through ? Tx

Looks great. I love that you were able to suppress the majority of the PG trees as well. Makes such a difference! We’ll done!

Wow! The scenery at night is just fantastic! La Ronde's lighting is incredible even up close! With the Jacques-Cartier bridge and the Biosphere, this is awesome. The only things missing are the Concorde bridge and lighting for the casino. Great effort! I truly enjoy your work!
