Description
Let me just say that I am not a developer. Just a mere novice learning his way round blender and SDK. Call it on job training, and what I learned, I got it for watching tutorials, mainly Jonx Tutorials , The guy is a genius and has the patience of a saint. Also the guys on discord for putting up with my numerous questions. So thanks Jonx and the rest on discord. And thank you Helijah for the model on sketchfab.
Took me long enough to get this far but I got there in the end and I wanted to contribute something.
The Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5 was a British biplane fighter aircraft of the First World War in mid 1917
I wanted a bit of fun to it as well and unsuccessfully tried to add smoke, so that is not working, so ignore the 2 switches on the right, but hopefully it will be at some point. So it is a work in progress.
FX’s for the tires and the exhaust work OK. All that said hope you like it. It flies decent enough. If anything it’s good for aerial shots. This is my first release so I appreciate any constructive comments.
To istall just unzip or unrar and copy folder into your community folder.
VERSION 0.06
EDIT: Elevators wher reversed, now fixed. Thanks for pointing that out
VERSION 0.07
Minor adjustment to asset and output directory file. Not all aircraft were showing in hanger. Now they do.

I have no Idea why, but when ever I try to use my HOTAS thruster, it reduces the throttle to 2%. It won't throttle up or down, I use the cockpit throttle and it flies really well, but as soon as the joystick throttle is used; down to 2%. Makes it hard to land and pull off any fancy manoeuvres. Can you please look at this? Apart from that, this aircraft is great. I love the aiming tube and like to line my sight up with it. I would love an olive drab livery for it, the camouflage doesn't work for me. Thank you for the hard work you put into this. Have a good one...

Try changing your mapping on your HOTAS profile from "throttle" to "throttle axis 1". Many third party aircraft use this control for power.

In VR the cockpit is tiny! The gauges are the size of coins and the throttle is half the size of a finger. The cockpit floor appears to be very shallow too. Overall the model appears to be about the size of the Pitts Special which only has a 20 foot wingspan.

Just wanted to pop in and say great airplane!!! I'm a retired aero engineer, and the flight model is delightful. It's not accurate at negative aoa, too much lift and not enough drag, but other than that, it's quite fun to fly. It's actually probably too easy to fly, but heck, that's what's fun about it. However if you want a landing challenge, try landing it downwind on a paved runway, without using your brakes. My wing tips will never be the same. It sounds great, and flies like a kite in the wind. Now I'm just looking for a cool French aerodrome to fly it out of.

Pilot for the SE-5 way out of proportion (much too small). Other than that, great.

Hi there
No engine sound at all...I am sure you just need to put the sound file back in...it was one of the better features of this plane

Junkers JU87 Stuka Dive Bomber
The Junkers Ju 87 or Stuka (from Sturzkampfflugzeug, "dive bomber") was a German dive bomber and ground-attack aircraft. Designed by Hermann Pohlmann, it first flew in 1935. The Ju 87 made its combat debut in 1937 with the Luftwaffe's Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War of 1936–1939 and served the Axis in World War II from beginning to end (1939–1945). The aircraft is easily recognisable by its inverted gull wings and fixed spatted undercarriage. Upon the leading edges of its faired main gear legs were mounted ram-air sirens known as Jericho trumpets [de], which became a propaganda symbol of German air power and of the so-called Blitzkrieg victories of 1939–1942, as well as providing Stuka pilots with audible feedback as to speed. The Stuka's design included several innovations, including automatic pull-up dive brakes under both wings to ensure that the aircraft recovered from its attack dive even if the pilot blacked out from the high g-forces.
