Photogrammetry of Brindisi, located in Apulia, Italy.
Brindisi is situated on a natural harbour, that penetrates deeply into the Adriatic coast.
Main sights (all present in this scenery):
The Aragonese Castle, best known as Forte a Mare ("Sea Fort"). It was built by King Ferdinand I of Naples in 1491 on the S. Andrea island facing the port. It is divided into two sections: the "Red Castle" (from the color of its bricks) and the more recent Fort.
Two ancient Roman pillars, symbols of Brindisi. They were once thought to mark the ending points of the Appian Way, instead they were used as a port reference for the antique mariners. Only one of the two, standing at 18.74 metres (61.5 ft), is still visible.
The Castello Svevo or Castello Grande ("Hohenstaufen Castle" or "Large Castle"), built by Emperor Frederick II. It has a trapezoid plan with massive square towers.

This is my first release of Brindisi, i tried to realize all the city, with great care in integrating it with the default FS scenery. If you support me i can expand,optimize and correct it with future versions.

A really well done work!
Finally a scenery that shows all the thins you can expect to see in Brindisi from above, like the Monumento Al Marinaio and the details of military ships of San Giorgio class. All the parts of harbour is really detailed, and it's like to fly for real on the city.. The performance are incredible stable, nothing fps drop on the entire area..
Congrats for this work, i think it's one of the best 3rd party photogrammetry realizations!

Also downloaded Lecce and Taranto (i see is yours too). Just my curiosity, why theres not Ilva in Taranto? I think because theres not the phogrammetry data on that area?
I landed on the Garibaldi Carrier in Taranto, what an amazing sensation :D (with a Pilatus.. ok doesn't matter the airplane i used for :D )

yes, there's no photogrammetry data for Ilva, ..but also because i'm from Taranto so i don't like to see Ilva!

Complimenti, bellissimo scenario. Anch'io un pò di tempo fa ne ho creato uno che utilizzo. un file unico di circa 3 giga nel quale c'è meno dettaglio, qualche imperfezione ma si riesce a vedere tutto il Petrolchimico e si distingue la nuova struttura dell'aeroporto. Per me è accettabile anche se non ha il livello di dettaglio del tuo. Il problema è che essendo grande il file è un pò lento a caricare. Magari se ci fosse qualcuno che riuscisse a comprimerlo come dimensioni potrebbe andare bene. Prossimamente proverò a caricarlo su flightsim.to

Una domanda: avevo scaricato già Brindisi periferia (che però ora non c'è più) e questo nuovo file Centro. Però quando decompatto Centro, ottengo una sola cartella che si chiama Brindisi Ovest photogrammetry, non tre come è riportato nelle istruzioni di installazione. Chiedo: hai messo tutto dentro a questa cartella, sia Periferia che Centro? Dunque tolgo quelle che avevo già di Periferia? Grazie

Invece c'è da scaricare anche BrindisiPeriferia, ho appena verificato per sicurezza e c'è, la nuova versione si chiama BrindisiPeriferia04122021, scarica e cancella tutto il vecchio scenario, ora sono 6 nuove dir da mettere in community, fammi sapere!

Grazie, ma se metto "brindisi" nella stringa di ricerca mi dà solo questo scenario, poi uno di EnjoyItFly e un'aviosuperficie di Cellino San Marco. Ho messo anche il nome che hai dato tu e non viene fuori alcunché. Se vado sul tuo profilo, risultato solo questo Brindisi qui e Taranto

..trovi tutto qui, non c'è bisogno di fare altre ricerche: cliccando su download 1.01 si aprirà un popup con 2 file scaricabili, FILE PRINCIPALE e BRINDISIPERIFERIA, devi scaricare entrambi, estrarre le 6 dir e metterle in community

...a prescindere che abbassare di troppo i tasselli del modello secondo la mia opinione è un errore perchè ti vai a rosicare tutti i dettagli della costa e dei pontili. Sì ok vedi il mare ma perdi dettaglio. Questo è un lavoro di ripulitura che andrebbe fatto in Blender (intanto ne guadagneresti sicuramente nel peso complessivo)...ripulire il mare, le barche, le pinete da lod praticamente inutili sicuramente peserebbe almeno quasi la metà. Capisco che è un lavoro lungo e che non fa nessuno e se per te va bene così non tenere conto di quanto scritto

il lavoro in Blender che suggerisci non funziona, lo avevo già provato in passato, il problema è che Blender gestisce POLIGONI e spesso i poligoni comprendono contemporaneamente sia il mare che la costa. Lo scenario realizzato, a mio parere, è un ottimo compromesso, i tasselli non sono stati abbassati troppo ma il giusto. Se poi preferisci le linee di costa perfette e dettagliate, ti segnalo che c'è un altro scenario di Brindisi disponibile qui in Flightsim, che a me non piace in quanto il mare è stato lasciato quello opaco in fotogrammetria, ma i gusti sono gusti :)
