KTYQ - Indianapolis Executive Airport
Indianapolis Executive Airport is a publicly owned and operated airport airport on the north side of Indianapolis. I features a single 5500x100 ft / 1676x30 m runway with an ILS for runway 36. The airport's main FBO is First Wing Jet Center who offer fueling services, hangar space, and more. The FBO is well known for it's large, overhanging structure covering the entrance to the FBO.

- Retextured the runway, taxiway, and ramp
- Custom 3D models for all buildings including the FBO and its interior
- Custom, handplaced taxiway lines

- Fixed airport lighting including approach lights

I live quite close to this airport, great seeing it brought to life now in the sim. Pulling up into the open hangar connected to the main building is super good. Great work!!

Great addition ... though I haven't yet driven around to nit-pick on details!! As others have commented, a lot of P1D followers have been made very happy.

That is a fantastic job!! I just tried it in VR with the 172 glass cockpit and there was no FPS hit at all which amazed me. I've tried other custom airports with varying degrees of loss. I'll attempt it again with something a little more complex like the CJ4 and see how your scenery reacts then.

Thank you! Very glad to hear it's not negatively impacting performance. I try to keep texture sizes down and it seems to really help. It also prevents the airport from being like 500 MB hahaha

I don’t know how you keep knocking them out of the park (and so quickly!)
I check flightsim.to about once a week, and the first thing I do is check to see if you’ve released any new airports.
I've got no knowledge of the airport other than what I’ve seen when Greg flies in and out of here on YouTube 😄, but based on that, you’ve got it absolutely right!

Thank you very much! I don't know how I do them so quickly either haha. I'm pretty slow in Blender so the fact I made the terminal and all the hangars in a weekend is mind boggling to me.

Not sure where I have been as I was totally unaware of your IMS scenery addon. I am not into air racing. Is there a chance you could provide an additional addon that is just the speedway elements? This KTYQ is a great raceday destination. Michigan Ave to 86th, west to Georgetown, Georgetown to paydirt!

Fantastic result! I have been using KUMP as my Indianapolis base of ops but this changes that!
