    Description

    Fort Yukon sits north of the arctic circle and is a common destination for tourist sightseeing in the Arctic Gates Wildlife Presevres, seeing the Northern Lights, Experiencing the lives of first nation peoples in the Arctic and their traditional way of living with the land.  Tourists come to float the Yukon river, and to hike in the Yukon flats.   

    I have recreated the Fort Yukon terminal building from scratch in blender as a custom model for this scenery.  I have also fixed a lot of issues with the airport, places my custom scenery at the field, to give it a more accurate depiction.

    I don't know if my character's just a short queen, but the terminal (as nicely rendered as it is) is quite disproportionate to her size. There are also no runway markings, and the runway is sunken in below river level. The backwater just to the north of runway 22 is also above runway level. The airport is paved in what looks to be asphalt when it's supposed to be gravel and dirt. I say all this assuming they weren't intentional choices. But you may want to update the airport for 2024.
