Unofficial scenery of the GWAA / NPAS base in Almondsbury, Bristol, UK. If this is your area, search this site for my attempt at Filton Airfield or St Athan SAR.
This is nothing more than a grass runway outline and shed in MSFS but in real life is quite a busy air ambulance and police air service base. The scenery includes a parking spot for the GWAA H135, an active runway, bespoke hangar and hazards on both approaches. There are a couple of other tweaks on base scenery in the locality just to correct gross errors. The two response cars are currently low res as they weren't really a priority - I may revisit them later.
I recommend you visit the rooftop helipad at the Bristol Royal Children's Hospital (scenery on this website) and I've included Southmead Hospital and the Avonmouth wind turbines as optional downloads.
Download, extract, drag into your Community folder.

In the 30 miles that separate Thornbury and Weston-s-Mare I've spotted 9 helipad 'H's in the MSFS photo scenery, 14 if you include Almondsbury and the 2 hospitals. See if you can find them all!

- Shorten folder names: Renaming folders to shorter names can help resolve the issue. However, this may result in a less organized folder structure.
- Extract files to the root folder: Extracting files to the root directory (e.g., C😊 can reduce the character count and alleviate the problem.
- Enable long path support: On Windows, enabling long path support through the Registry Editor (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem) or Group Policy Editor (Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/System/Filesystem) can allow for longer file paths.
- Use a third-party ZIP file extraction tool: If the built-in Windows ZIP tool is causing issues, consider using a third-party tool that supports long file paths.
- Create a custom community folder: Moving the community folder to a shorter path (e.g., C:\MSFS Content) and using an Addons Linker tool can help manage file names and paths.

Noticed a wee tiny glitch. There is a rogue floating red beacon light near the helipads (about half way between that area and the ma;st). Hard to spot - it's at about 20ft ;)

It should have a windsock under it. If it hasn't, check your other downloads to see if they aren't showing windsocks either. I downloaded a heliport off here recently and something about that file took windsocks out of all the other scenery in my community file. I removed it and they all came back. [Edit: It was another scenery causing the problem and the develop has since fixed it].
