    Description

    Welcome to SavageSceneries.

    This is my first enhacement for KLAX. Please note that this scenery add-on is meant to work with the INIBUILDS payware airport but should work just fine with the default airport. THIS ONLY comes with static aircraft and a few extras. You must have the static aircraft add-on from Latinvfr in order to work.

    Im not 100% if this will work with the default scenery as i have not tested it. Youll notice that there are a few added items through out the airport as well. Walls and more ground equipment to make it more realisitc. Im not a developer in any way so dont ask me to alter buildings or anything like that. 

    INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: Simply download the file and drag and drop into your community folder.

    I hope you all like this add-on as it brings the airport more to life.

    Some planes are at gates where they don't park, and why stairs on airplanes? Also, many are at random spots between gates (delta terminal for example) or are moved to one side away from the markings on the gate. Also, there is a random Hawaiian A330 parked on taxiway P

    The Latin VFR static airplane packs are not updated. I’ve made new packs with the FSLTL models from FBW. The models you use has too many issues with random parked aircraft and such so I stopped using them a while back. I suggest you move to FSLTL models if you want up to date packs. This configuration of this airport is 2 years old hence why you see certain planes at wrong gates.

    I want to use the FSLTL Models but you state that the latinvfr pack is a MUST for this to work. How can I switch to the FSLTL?

    I've downloaded all of your static sceneries and they are superb ,thanks very much for them! Could you point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to do these as i'm very interested in creating static for my msfs. Thanks.

    Of course I’m happy you like them! All you have to do is create a package scenery folder and place the scenery objects where you wish from the latinvfr pack. Really easy once you don’t once or twice.

    I'm doing something wrong, i'm saving the scenery and building the package but the static aircraft disappear when exiting tools. Been following the tutorials by Patriot six to the letter but no joy.

    Hey I'm not seeing alot of traffic at the main terminals. Like the tom bradly terminal has aircraft, but im not seeing hardly if any aircraft at united's, delta's, southwest's, american's, alaska's, etc. terminals. Any idea why this is?

    Hm that’s weird.. the pictures is what it should look like. You might need to go into your content.cfg file and delete the line for this addon and let the sim recreate a new line. Also make sure the latinvfr line is higher than any of my mods you download.

    I'm looking but all I'm seeing is the camera.cfg, flightsimulator.cfg, userCFG.opt. Would you happen to know the path?

    I'm just curious. You stated that the LatinVFR add-on is required, and that's $14.99. From what I read on their website, that purchase includes static aircraft for a lot of airports, including KLAX. So is this intended to be an improvement on their product?

    Thats correct. So there are airports they havent done which im currently working on or have already developed and pushed out. KLAX was my first improvement project as the basic set from LATINVFR had a lot of poorly placed aircraft in areas where they shouldnt. Especially certain airlines at certian termianls that dont operate out of them. Yes however, you do need to pay the $14.99 to LATINVFR for the product and then simply download my folder (for the specific airport) to overwrite the package from LATINVFR. Super easy and simple for a way more realstic feel to the sim.
