    Description

    Landmarks of the Kyiv City.

    Kyiv is the capital and most populous city of Ukraine. It is located in the north-central Ukraine along the Dnipro River. Its population in July 2015 was 2,887,974, making Kyiv the seventh-most populous city in Europe. Kyiv is an important industrial, scientific, educational and cultural center of Eastern Europe. It is home to many high-tech industries, higher education institutions, and historical landmarks. The city has an extensive system of public transport and infrastructure, including the Kyiv Metro.

    Installation:
    - Remove the previous version folder "landmarksKyiv" (if you have it)
    - extract "landmarkskyivcity" folder into your "Community" folder.
    Uninstallation:
    - delete "landmarkskyivcity" folder from your "Community" folder.

    I verified that the addon works in MSFS2024. I cant wait to add blooming chestnut trees which only appear in May. I hope Anton can see this, wherever he is.

    I worked with Anton (Ted Stricker) on this addon. My part was small in comparison to his. But we both had the dream of representing our beautiful city Kyiv in Flight Simulator. I met Anton on the avsim forums in 2020. We never met in person, and sadly lost touch after this addon was finished. But from our online interactions, I remember him as a cool guy with some awesome 3d modeling skills. He was even teaching me a few things.

    I only recently found out that he was lost while fighting in the war to defend our beautiful country. I am very sad to hear about this. As I promised him in a previous comment when the war began, I plan to add blooming chestnut trees to Kyiv in the game. Rest in Peace brother. You are a hero. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!

    Вітаю! Дуже радий чути співвітчизника та знайомого по авсіму форумчанина! Нещодавно вирішив зробити свій мод до сценарія Антона, сподіваюсь Він спочиває з миром в кращому світі та не буде проти доопрацювання його сценарію... Тільки вивчаю SDK, але вже є перші результати, буду в процесі розробки ділитись їми на avsim форумі. Сьогодні запостив у темі на форумі перші скріншоти з результатами роботи, якщо Вам буде цікаво, то повертайтесь до теми обговорення Києва на Авсімі))) Впевнений, що разом ми зробимо найкращій сценарій міста в симуляторі!
