First of all, a huge THANK YOU to the author for this absolutely brilliant mod! It transforms the default DC-3 into a truly functional and enjoyable aircraft and makes it feel like a proper classic airliner rather than just a default MSFS aircraft. Thank you very much for all the work you have put into it!

I am from Russia and use MSFS in Russian. While flying the Duckworks Enhanced DC-3, I noticed several issues and inconsistencies in the Russian cockpit tooltips and terminology. Because of that, I decided to carefully rework the Russian localization for Duckworks Enhanced DC-3.
The patch mainly improves and unifies the Russian cockpit tooltips: control names, descriptions, aviation terminology, mixture lever positions, radio/audio panel labels, anti-icing terminology, lighting controls and a number of other cockpit descriptions.
The only intentional functional change is the discrete throttle step. The original mod uses a +\-10% throttle step for increase/decrease commands. I changed this to +\-1% per button press, which makes fine power adjustments much more convenient when using a controller.
Most importantly, after finishing the patch I performed a full comparison against the original Asobo/Duckworks files. The original aircraft systems and logic remain completely untouched: engine logic, fuel system, electrical system, hydraulics, propellers, mixture logic, starters, generators, de-icing, lighting, autopilot logic, animations and all other aircraft functions remain exactly as designed by Duckworks.
So in short: this is only a Russian tooltip/localization improvement, plus the optional 1% throttle step change. Nothing else in the aircraft systems or Duckworks logic has been modified.
I hope this will be useful for other Russian-speaking DC-3 pilots as well.

And once again - THANK YOU for this fantastic mod! ❤️

Would it be possible with future updates to have the option of an IAS instead of an MPH for the airspeed indicator?

I wonder if Duckwork can rework the C46 now that it has been updated by Microsoft/Inibuilds. I checked the folder, and it’s now named "microsoft-aircraft-c46" instead of "Aeroplane Heaven." It also doesn’t seem to be encrypted like it used to be.

I saw Duckwork respond to a comment on Flightim.to when someone asked if the C46 could be reworked, but at that time, it wasn't possible because it was encrypted. Since the Aircraft & Avionics Update 05 (AAU_05), the "microsoft-aircraft-c46" folder appears to be unencrypted. This might mean that Duckwork could proceed with a rework like he did with the DC3.

I noticed that the sounds in the updated C46 from AAU 05 still do not feature the true Pratt & Whitney R2800 radial engines. I’m uncertain if Duckwork will see my message, but if he does, I would love to hear his thoughts. I downloaded the folder locally onto my SSD since I don’t stream any content for the sim. I just wanted to point this out in case Duckwork is interested. I would like to tackle it myself, although I'm not the best at coding and I'm not really a sound engineer, so I wouldn't know where to start.

Can someone help me? I have the Duckworks DC3 installed. Everything is working fine. But i never get the glide slope. I put in the VOR beacon. the compass points me tot the right course and after putting in the right angle, the needle points direct me directly to the runway . But the glide slope never comes on.

It's solved! I found out that you should use the ILS beacons and not the VOR beacons for using the glide slope. It works! Thanks for the great plane! It's been my favourite in this game!

You need to move the blue hydraulic selector lever to the front position for the AP to work.

Do I have to get special liveries to work with this?

Is there any chance to have parity with the provided liveries? There are several classic liveries that don't have a retrofit variant and vice versa

That would be up to the livery creator.
