Base Naval Talcahuano y su Astillero Asmar
Del año 1813 durante la Guerra de Independencia de nuestro país, se produce el desembarco en San Vicente, puerto de Talcahuano, del Brigadier don Antonio Pareja, el que ocupa militarmente dicho puerto. Antonio Pareja y Serrano de León (Cabra, 7 de diciembre de 1757 - Chillán, 21 de mayo de 1813) fue un marino español que se destacó en varias acciones militares en Europa y en el Norte de África. Por sus acciones, logró ascender a brigadier de la Armada Española y ser destinado por el Consejo de Regencia a Chile con un alto cargo, pero no pudo ejercerlo debido al estado de revolución en que se encontraba la zona. En el año 1819 se crea el Arsenal Naval de Talcahuano. El ingreso a la Base Naval, regulado por la Armada, es conocida entre la comunidad como "La puerta de los leones", debido a que dos esculturas de dicho mamífero se encuentra a cada lado de la vía. La Base Naval de Talcahuano es un espacio de obras importantes, ya que en sus dependencias se ubican los Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada (Asmar), la empresa estatal dedicada a la reparación, mantención y construcción de unidades para la Armada de Chile, que además presta servicio a empresas pesqueras y de la marina mercante.

Too many folders. Please combine your scenery into just one folder. The game has a folder limit of 1028 folders under Community. After that (>1028 folders), the Content Manager won't load at all and game crashes on exit.
