Description
One of the most iconic airlines in history, Pan American, or simply Pan Am. The DC-3 flexibility found a use among the powerfull Pan Am fleet in late 1963 so still on time to show the famous "blue globe" livery. The N 19912 (after services with US Army Air Forces, Pan Am, Panagra and Avianca) came back to PanAm christened 'S Clipperle, found good use in Germany linking Frankfurt Am Main to Stuttgart.

Replace the "Panel" parameter in the "aircraft.cfg" file in the description of "Douglas DC-3 PanAm N19912 - Pax Retrofit". Write:
Panel="\..\..\douglas-dc3-livery-worldtravel\panel.black"
(Instead of Panel="PanAm_N19912_ADVANCED". In this case, the PanAm_N19912_ADVANCED folder can be completely deleted as unnecessary.) And the GPS system will be fully operational!
And one more thing... I hope you have the wonderful "zzz-duckworks-enhancement-dc-3" mod installed, which is on this site. Honestly, I haven't tried flying a DC-3 without it for several years and I don't even know if it will work without it.
I hope you enjoy flying with a working GPS!

As for MSFS 2024, the GPS DOES NOT WORK in it - there is no way to select an airport. More precisely, you can still select it somehow (not from the keyboard), but you cannot activate this choice IN ANY WAY. At the same time, in MSFS 2020, the GPS is fully functional.
The only thing that is good (even VERY good) is the bright light of the headlights. Perhaps even too bright for a DC-3. It would be possible to reduce the brightness a little in the DAYTIME and make the light a little yellower, since these headlights still have ordinary (albeit powerful) incandescent bulbs.
Yes, I understand that for MSFS 2020 you can download the old version (the link to which is also present). But then it is unclear why there is another folder with a name including 2024 in the folder of this mod, but there is no folder 2020. Should this version be called 20/24? It would be more logical to post it as intended only for MSFS 2024 (separately from the version for MSFS 2020)...

The MSFS 2020 version is working in both classic and retrofit (GPS), the download button is marked as "download MSFS2020" and the download file itself is named for each sim.
The GPS functionality and landing lights are also not related to the livery, it would be better to adress this in the proper channel.
Hope you have fun with this livery!

Douglas DC-3 - American Airlines Flagship
The SN 1920 was ordered in 1937 and is a "pure DC3" survivor since it was on civil service throughout WW2. It was in service with American Airlines until 1947, distictively being a plane that Eleanor Roosevelt flew in many occasions (she would pick the seat in front of the door, to be the last to board and the first to leave). It also depicted many pictures and artwork of the time since its relatives were serving in the war. In 2004 it was located in Virginia serving as a spray plane. The work to bring her to the original glory took 18 months, and now she is the oldest original DC3 still flying, and is kept in mint condition by the Flagship Detroit Foundation.
