Description
Thank you wcs33 for reference material and inspiration!
The N18124 was built in 1937 and was one of the original "pure DC-3s". She flew her whole commercial life with Eastern Air Lines, showing one of the most beautiful liveries ever flashed in an aircraft.
Since 1952 she is "flying" from the Smithsonian Museum cealing, and eventually is taken to some seasons of flight. It has offered to the Museum by Eastern's president himself, Edward V. Rickenbacker.

This is just beautiful. The DC-3 has been my favourite aircraft for as long as I remember. My dad built a scale model of the Eastern Airlines DC-3 and it hung above the computer when I was a kid playing FS2004, and flying that plane has always been a dream. As far as I know, there has never been a free Eastern Airlines livery for the stock DC3 in either FS2004 nor FSX. Thanks for making this and letting me finally experience that : ). I can't express how much this means to me

Very nice livery; may I ask, why are two files needed?

Main File is for the Classic version and the one labeled Douglas DC-3 - Eastern Air Lines is the GPS version.

Beautiful livery! Your choice of vibrant color shades always make these liveries pop in MSFS2020. One thing that I noticed is that the cowling trim on the starboard side seems to be misaligned. Thanks for another beautiful rendition.

Douglas DC-3 - Pan American
One of the most iconic airlines in history, Pan American, or simply Pan Am. The DC-3 flexibility found a use among the powerfull Pan Am fleet in late 1963 so still on time to show the famous "blue globe" livery. The N 19912 (after services with US Army Air Forces, Pan Am, Panagra and Avianca) came back to PanAm christened 'S Clipperle, found good use in Germany linking Frankfurt Am Main to Stuttgart.

Douglas DC-3 - American Airlines Flagship
The SN 1920 was ordered in 1937 and is a "pure DC3" survivor since it was on civil service throughout WW2. It was in service with American Airlines until 1947, distictively being a plane that Eleanor Roosevelt flew in many occasions (she would pick the seat in front of the door, to be the last to board and the first to leave). It also depicted many pictures and artwork of the time since its relatives were serving in the war. In 2004 it was located in Virginia serving as a spray plane. The work to bring her to the original glory took 18 months, and now she is the oldest original DC3 still flying, and is kept in mint condition by the Flagship Detroit Foundation.

Tried this in the early hours = AWESOME! I love anything Florida related!😀 We took the later Eastern paint jobs when I was 8 for family trips to Florida. Brings a tear to my eye thinking of my Dad (RIP).
