Nürburgring Nordschleife + GP-Track

Ever wondered what the BTG time of a Guimbal Cabri would be? Well, now you can find out.

The Nordschleife is the longest race track in the world and known for it's trickiness and many corners.

Now you can sort of enjoy it in MSFS2020. Both tracks (NOS and GP) have been remade with a proper surface. Vegetation along the Nordschleife has been adjusted as good as possible, so no trees stand on the track. The tracks are very well visible now and a good landmark.

Apart from the track surfacing 3 seperate helicopter locations have been made.

The first "helipad" is a field next to Döttinger Höhe which is a place that has been used for sightseeing flights in the past in real life. You can take your passangers for a flight along the Nordschleife from there.

The second helipad is in front of the Nürburgring Medical Center next to the main straight.

Third and last helipad is at the facility where the helicopter "Air Rescue Nürburgring" is based. It's located within the GP-Track.

On all 3 sites you can either choose runway start for engines already running, or a parking spot for a cold-and-dark state of the rotorcraft.

The fictional ICAO-Code for it is XNOS

Disclaimer and issues:

The castle you see is NOT the Nürburg castle. However it looks alright and somewhat close enough. Just be aware of it.

Cars will cross the Nordschleife at the Döttinger Höhe (near the gantry), on Quiddelbacher Höhe and Breitscheid. I tried to remove them but failed doing so.

Also cars will cross the GP-Track at one location.

Installation:

Open the downloaded file and place the "chrispiaviation_nordschleife" inside the community folder.
