AYNZ Lae Nadzab Version 2 - Image 1

    Description

Lae Nadzab International AYNZ Version 2 Serves the city of Lae. Nadzab was constructed by US engineers after being secured by Australian and US paratroopers in 1943. Remnants of this once massive base can be seen in the MSFS photogrammetry

NOTE: This is a completely new build of this airport. If you have my previous "dw-airport-aynz-lae" scenery please DELETE it from your community folder BEFORE installing this new version

NOTE: No dependencies required however you should have all world updates installed INCLUDING WU13 (Oceania) for objects to appear correctly

IMPORTANT: This scenery is absolutely FREE. If you don't like it just delete it. I will not respond to rude and arrogant comments

HOWEVER I'm always happy to respond to comments and suggestions made in a friendly and polite manner.

Thanks as always to all who enjoy my sceneries.

    Cheers

    Thanks for another great one!
I get some runway lights in intersections etc (see pic). Is it correct? Is it my setup maybe?

Hi zbootsum. Yeah, those lights are pain in the ass. Unfortunately I have to use default runway and taxiway lights at some of my airports and they have a mind of their own! Unfortunately not much I can do with them.

I see in V2 that AYNZ is no longer under construction. Superbly done. Thanks!

Thankyou so much for this. I was one of the engineers who built this in 1975 from the old WW2 strip as a gift to PNG which was then becoming independent from Australia.

Thanks for your comment. Nice to find someone else who knows Nadzab. I used to fly into old Nadzab occasionally in the old days (1960s)when it was a weather alternate to Lae city. It was pretty rough but still operational. You obviously did a good job on the new field!

Thank you for taking the time to make and share these wonderful airstrips. Would it be possible to make one big pack including all these PNG airstrips? Makes it easier to update when you make changes or add new strips.

    Hi blakixo

Thanks for the suggestion and I understand but I like to get my sceneries uploaded individually so simmers can enjoy them immediately I finish them. That way I can fix any issues reported ASAP

Appreciate your feedback though and happy to hear from you

    Cheers
