Description
This pack contains 2 airports in the Russian Arctic: UODS Sredny Island Airbase and ZE2N Temp (Peace) Airbase. UODS was built during the Soviet era but was improved in 2014, and it has a single runway 08/26 that is 3500x100m unpaved, and is near a base on a nearby island. ZE2N was built in 2013 but was also a base from the Soviet era, and it has a single runway 11/29 that is 1806m with an unpaved surface. Both bases were made to fit large aircraft like IL-76/Antonov 72 jets. Both airports were missing in the base game and no good satellite imagery so the graphics look more basic and can be inaccurate.
Russia Arctic airport pack
Explore the Russian Arctic with this airport pack, featuring UODS Sredny Island Airbase and ZE2N Temp (Peace) Airbase. These airports, designed for large aircraft like IL-76 and Antonov 72 jets, were missing in the base game, providing a unique addition to your Flight Simulator experience. While the graphics may appear basic due to the lack of good satellite imagery, these historically significant airports offer an exciting challenge for virtual aviators.
