This is my hommage and revisitation of a long gone and glorious virtual fictional airfield.
Veteran simmers might already have recognized the KEWL ICAO.

Without further ado, this airfield is a revisitation of Emma Field. It is placed in the same coordinates a bit west out of Lillwaup (WA), the runway is similar but the facilities have grown a bit.
For reasons explained in the enclosed guide, you will learn that Fritz is not among us anymore and the old airport structures are gone.

This will be a rolling release project and I will add features as they become available in the sim. Most notably, I'd really like to have back the old sailplane winch, the possibility to add timed events (like we had Fritz doing different tasks).

Airport Information
Olifield sits a few miles W of Lilliwaup (WA). To the north we have the Olympic Range mountains and to the west we have Cushman Lake. In the enclosed guide I added further navigational information.
From here you can explore the area and fly to Sequim Airport, Diamond Point, Friday Harbor and many other popular PNW destinations. With a longer flight one can also explore the North Cascades National Park and proceed to Chelan.
You can also practice instrumental approaches from here as Tacoma Narrows (KTIW) is a very short hop from here.
Lake Cushman facilities have been improved for a relaxing flight and water splashing your favourite amphibian at the lake.

Why change name?
Although I have permission from the original copyright holder to use the name Emma Field I preferred to change the name. Without exposing too much information, Emma is the name of a real person who is a close relative of a well known member of the flightsim community so I preferred to avoid any misunderstandings and use a name which, for me, is as much inspiring as Emma was to who gave it that name.
