    Description

    Welcome!

    Addington Field Airport (KEKX) is located 4 miles west of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. There is a FBO on the field, along with a skydiving operator and an AirMethods (medevac helicopter) post. The runway is 6000 feet long, ILS approach is available to runway 5, and RNAV approaches are charted for both runway 5 and 23. 

    Our Enhancement

    • Pavement and decal re-work
    • Custom FBO, hangars, AirMethods building, signs behind the hangars, office building at 400 Ring Road, EFD Station 1, FiveStar gas station, SOUDAL Accumetric, W L Plastics, and Summit Polymers
    • Custom props include runway distance remaining signs, segmented circle, FAA airport rotating beacon, mailboxes, and parking signs
    • Custom placed runway and taxiway lights, including directional threshold lights and REILs
    • Taxiway signs and windsock placement
    • Fence along the airport perimeter

    Installation

    • Extract the "c3d-airport-kekx-elizabethtown.zip" to the "Community" folder

    I just LOVE your pavement textures, including the little tie down rings at the parking spots. Nicely done brother!

    I downloaded the new version, the beacon tower is still missing for me.

    just downloaded, very nice airport. i had one issue, do not see the airport beaon tower. i see the beacon light, but not the tower. can you check?

    really nice, only issue I have with it is the papi floats about 20 feet over it position.

    If you revise this one please consider finding an open hangar with an in-hangar parking spot and some hangar contents. It will add a lot of life to the airport.
