    Description

    PLEASE NOTE - If you own the Miltech Chinook you will see double scenery as it is included in the Chinook folder, to remove the Miltech version go to this folder - miltechsimulations-ch47d\Scenery\chinooksceneries\scenery and delete or rename the EGVO.bgl file this will disable their scenery version.

     

    Royal Air Force Odiham or more simply RAF Odiham (IATA: ODH, ICAO: EGVO) is a Royal Air Force station situated a little to the south of the village of Odiham in Hampshire, England. It is the home of the Royal Air Force's heavy lift helicopter, the Boeing Chinook, and of the King's Helicopter Flight (TKHF) . Its current station commander is Group Captain Donal McGurk.

    I have added Helipads and in the same spots mil combat parking spaces as i know the sim dosen't let all helicopters start from a helipad.

    This has all new lines and most of the buildings and runway, i will change the aprons next as im not happy with the sims version.

    if you download Animated Humans from Superspud you will see the ground crew.

    This is amazing, thank you! Strange request but is it possible to create a version without the raised runway (so it is all flat!). I can't seem to do it using terraforming on the SDK and there are a couple of bumps appearing on the runway which is already raised compared to the rest of the airfield. Thanks again

    no worries i can take a look just make sure if you have the Miltech Chinook installed you need to delete the Odiham.bgl file from within the Chinook files to stop it showing their scenery as well, any problems drop me a DM

    Hi Nick, I flew into Odiham, this morning and the runway appears to be higher that the rest of the Airfield, there's a ramp up to the 27 threshold and there's also a savage "trench" roughly a quarter of the way up from 27 end. I recently bought the Miltech Chinny , which I later realised comes with a free Odiham, so I'm not sure if it was caused by that or SU15

    yeah i think so, you can remove the Miltech one from the Chinook package by going to this directory - Community\miltechsimulations-ch47d\Scenery\chooksceneries\scenery
    and just delete the Odiham bgl file

    Thanks Nick, that did the trick the file was under the official folder;
    FS2020Temp\Official\Steam\miltechsimulations-ch47d\Scenery\chooksceneries\scenery in my machine, for those with the same issu, the file is egvo-airport.bgl
