    Description

    I am pleased to bring to you my latest scenery Newtownards.

    • Real Trees Terraforming - This scenery is the 2nd in my series that features 'Real Trees Terraforming'. As is quite the norm with these Google imports are the oblique tree textures that come with the imports. This I think spoils the look and immersion of the scenery. Bringing back real trees adds that special field of depth with the lighting, shadows they cast and how they cut through the mist, clouds and fog. Adopting a very unique technique with precision terraforming, I have managed to preserve these the best I can.
    • Optimized for Performance - Special thanks and credit to flightsim.to member Thalixte for his Google Earth Decoder Optimization tool. https://flightsim.to/file/4074/google-earth-decoder-optimisation-tools
    • Added Night Lighting - Over 1000 additional hand placed night lights were added to this scenery
    • Colour Corrected - To blend in with the surrounding Bing Scenery 

    This scenery also compliments perfectly my other two sceneries Bangor and Belfast 

    I also highly recommend downloading Newtownards Airport and Belfast City Airport. These two amazing airports are the creation of flightsim.to member tamalien. Please visit his page for more of his amazing work.

    Hey... have never done an xbox conversion yet, neither do I know at this stage if this is possible... though I would be very keen to learn and make available if I can.. let me look into it

    Any plans to do more of Northern Ireland? I'd love to see Armagh/Craigavon area. Belfast just crashes on the loading sceen but I think that might be because I need to upgrade from 16gb to 32 of ram. Newtownards works great though!

    When I try to download Newtownards it gives me a 404 error, Bangor downloads ok

    So good - can you join up Bangor to Holywood so we can fly from N'ards via Holywood to Belfast? That would be super awesome!

    I can do this... there is a little bit between Bangor and Holywood that is not covered, but I will fill in the rest.

    As a real pilot from EGAD, this stuff is as realistic as the sim allows. Its very close to RL! Excellent work!
