What is this mod?
This mod takes the payware Cockspur Phenom 100 and modifies the flight model and engine characteristics to be similar to the upgraded Phenom 100 EV
What are the key difference between the Phenom 100 and 100EV?
- The Phenom 100EV has the upgraded Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F1-E Engine which produces 35 additional pounds of thrust per engine.
- The Phenom 100EV has a maximum cruise speed of 405 knots where-as the default Phenom has a maximum cruise speed of 390 Knots
- The Phenom 100EV has an additional 139 nautical miles of range
- The Phenom 100EV requires 65ft less runway to take-off
- The Phenom 100EV has the Garmin 3000 vs 1000 (Not simulated in this mod, as I don't have permissions to change the 3D Model)
What has been changed in this modification vs the default?
- Huge changes to the flight model, I reworked most of the flight model to make the aircraft fly a lot better
- Added CFD (Computational fluid dynamics) and tweaked this
- Aircraft will now respond to wind and crosswind a lot more ( Maximum 17 Knots Crosswind, It gets pretty spicy if you land over that )
- Aircraft will now feel like its actually flying in wind, then floating around everywhere.
- The engine power will actually effect the flight dynamics slightly now
- Reworked the Ground Handling using Sim Update 15s Ground Handling Modelling
- The aircraft will now feel like it has grip on a runway
- No longer will you slide around when landing or taking off
- You'll be able to feel when a runway is cold or wet or icy a lot better
- The aircraft will bobble and wobble a bit on take-off and landing and if you slam on the brakes
- You'll be able to feel the touchdown effect a lot more
- Make sure to use toe brakes for sharp turns (or go very slowly)
- The aircraft will now feel like it has grip on a runway
- Other changes
- The aircraft is a lot more nimble and doesn't feel super heavy anymore
- The flaps have been re-worked so they actually add drag and lift which works with the CFD
- You should notice you don't need to keep the engines at 90% thrust when landing on full flaps now
- The aircraft can actually stall properly if your going too slow in a turn (though its hard to stall because of how the plane was designed)
- Added CFD (Computational fluid dynamics) and tweaked this
- An additional 35 pounds of thrust were added to both engines
- Tweaked the fuel logic so that the aircraft was roughly 5% more fuel efficient
- Tweaked the flight model at low speeds to better handle the more powerful engines, as-well as reducing the ground effect so the aircraft does not float down the runway (See this video comparing the default and tweaked flight model)
- In MAX CRZ setting its now possible to reach 406 Knots TAS @ 30,000FT with no headwind, bare in mind with a tail wind its possible to overspeed the Phenom 100 EV where-as it was much harder in the default plane. Real EV pilots try and keep the plane around 385-390 Knots TAS for fuel economy so bare this in mind.
- The plane has around a 5% reduced fuel burn even with the more powerful engines, In my testing this increases its range by around 130-150 nautical miles. However wind and power settings can influence this.
- The EV has a slightly better climb rate than the standard one due to the extra power and shorter take off distance meaning you can get it out of tighter spots
- The markings on the jet have been changed to show Phenom 100EV thanks to ZachB who kindly agreed for me to repackage his markings into my mod.

Some important notes [PLEASE DO NOT SKIP]:
- Cockspur have given me their blessing to post this mod, however they have had nothing to do with this mod and I am not associated with them in anyway, they will not be able to support you if this mod causes any issues with their product.
- Cockspur verified the default performance statistics with a real Phenom 100 pilot, where-as I have made this mod by comparing statistics on paper and tweaking the flight model and engine stats, my mod may not be as accurate.
- Please note that because the Phenom now has more engine thrust it effects the FADEC simulation with Wasm which I don't have permissions to modify, in my testing this hasn't really effected anything as I found a way to trick the FADEC Simulation into thinking that the power settings was similar, but any weird behaviour with FADEC could be due to this and Cockspur cannot help with this.
- This mod replaces the default Phenom 100 with the Phenom 100 EV this is because we cannot upload the original Phenom files to create a new aircraft due to it being payware. If you want the old phenom back remove this mod from the community folder

Also some cool things to add if possible would be the Systems Synoptic pages, and updating the G1000NXi to SU16 G1000NXi changes

That said don't loose hope completly because FSReborn is making a Phenom 300E and I can assure you after speaking with him, the flight dynamics of tht Phenom 300E will be very accurate!

BTW, your image above should probably read "35lbs more thrust x2".
Cockspur Phenom 100EV - Enhancement Mod (CFD & Ground Handling, New Flight Model)
This mod changes the Phenom 100 to make it closer to the Phenom 100 EV which increases the power of the engines, increasing range, whilst also increasing fuel economy.

Fixed a minor bug where the REFERENCE SPEEDS were not being loaded correctly. This does not effect the flight model, but it meant that the Flight Assistant, the Aircraft Selection UI and overspeed triggers in the external mode were not correct. They are now correct. This would only effect you if you use the Flight Assistant or external modes to check speeds etc.
