Constructed in 1948, Bandera State was one of the first state airports in Washington State. Located in the scenic Snoqualmie Valley, only a couple of dozen miles East of Seattle, Bandera makes for a great strip for practising mountain flying or scenic stopovers.
The airport is usally open June to October - outside of this it gets a bit too wet to land safely. The runway is surrounded by trees, and you might have to watch out for deer, elk, vehicles and passing hikers.
I've added some custom models to this one for added realism. As ever, you'll need a few of the usual (excellent!) scenery libraries installed to enjoy this properly; they're listed below.

A great start for a flight up the Sno Valley (Bandera > Fall City > Majerle (Duvall) > First Air (Monroe) > Harvey (Snohomish). Thanks!
OrbX has really nice Fall City/Monroe/Snohomish airports, and FreakyD has good freeware versions of Monroe and Snohomish. I redid Majerle a while back, since it had unrealistic trees that made it nearly impossible to use.
