    Description

    Scenery for RAF Leeming in North Yorkshire, UK. The Hawk T1 (which you can buy from JustFlight https://www.justflight.com/product/hawk-t1a-advanced-trainer-microsoft-flight-simulator) is operated out of Leeming by 100 Squadron but other aircraft including the Eurofighter Typhoon (https://secure.simmarket.com/informatica-az-eurofighter-typhoon.phtml) can be seen. There are also Grob Tutors that operate from the southern hangar.

    Drag and drop 'airport-airport-egxe-leeming' into your Community folder

     

    Future features:

    Improvements to taxiways, especially the connections between the darker and lighter taxiways

     


    Thanks to nickb007 who allowed me to use his great models for the HASs and the large hangars.

     

    This is my first airport creation, so any feedback would be appreciated

    This scenery is currently in pretty poor condition unfortunately. Most of the hangars are missing and some ramps and taxiways are very hard to taxi across. It's like taxiing on a soft grassy field. Any chance this work will see an update? If not I will probably remove it since the stock auto-gen scenery perform better.

    It's a shame really. This was a nice place to launch the T1's out of when it worked.

    Still an issue with this scenery though. Marham has just been updated again and now all the big hangers have disappeared. I reckon you need to add them into your scenery and forget about using dependancies from other scenery. Shame I really liked it when it worked.

    My Leeming lost the big hangars. Looks like there are dependencies on other peoples scenery. I thing the RAF Marham update made them disappear. I reinstalled the February version of RAF Marham and the hangars have reappeared. Hope this helps someone!

    Issue where a section of the taxiway is not loading and the satellite imagery is visible. 


    You might find the base elevation is slightly high there so poking through your object. Perhaps you can overcome this by creating a terrain polygon and lowering the ground slightly - the base image should drop below your taxiway.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestion. It was just an issue with the SDK that was induced after an update but has been sorted for a while and I just hadn't removed it from the description.
