MobiFlight est une application Windows gratuite et open-source qui relie les simulateurs de vol au matériel de cockpit physique — connectant boutons, encodeurs, afficheurs, LEDs, contrôleurs MIDI et manettes USB au simulateur sans aucune connaissance en programmation. Un profil MobiFlight définit la correspondance entre une configuration matérielle spécifique et un avion précis, indiquant au logiciel quelles variables du simulateur lire et écrire pour chaque entrée ou sortie physique.
